Personal protective equipment against falls from a height - Lanyards

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, instructions for use marking and packaging for fixed adjustable lanyards. Lanyards according to this standard are used in fall arrest systems specified in EN 363. Other types of lanyards are specified in EN 358.

Diese Norm legt Anforderungen, Prüfverfahren, Gebrauchsanleitung, Kennzeichnung und Verpackung für unveränderliche und einstellbare Verbindungsmittel fest. Verbindungsmittel nach dieser Norm werden in Auffangsystemen entsprechend EN 363 verwendet. Andere Arten von Verbindungsmitteln sind in EN 358 und in EN 359 spezifiziert.

La présente norme fixe les exigences, les méthodes d'essai, le mode d'emploi, le marquage et l'emballage des longes fixes et réglables. Les longes conformes a la présente norme sont utilisées dans les systemes d'arret de chutes spécifiés dans l'EN 363. D'autres types de longes sont spécifiés dans l'EN 358 et l'EN 359.
