Vitreous and porcelain enamelled manufactured articles - Determination of resistance to heat (ISO 4530:2022)

This document specifies the basic conditions concerning the method for determining the resistance of
vitreous and porcelain enamelled articles to heat.
The method specified is applicable to vitreous and porcelain enamelled articles that will, in service, be
subjected to high temperature, for example to some cooker components, exhaust pipe silencers, gas
heating chimneys and flue pipes.

La méthode spécifiée s’applique aux pièces manufacturées recouvertes d‘émaux vitrifiés soumises en service à des températures élevées, telles que, par exemple, certains éléments de cuisinières, les silencieux de tuyaux d’échappement, les cheminées de chauffage au gaz et les tuyaux de raccordement.

Ta dokument določa osnovne pogoje v zvezi z metodo za določanje odpornosti
steklastih in porcelanasto emajliranih izdelkov proti toploti.
Navedena metoda se uporablja za steklaste in porcelanasto emajlirane izdelke, ki bodo med uporabo
izpostavljeni visoki temperaturi, na primer za nekatere komponente štedilnikov, dušilnike zvoka izpušnih cevi,
dimnike za plinsko ogrevanje in dimovodne cevi.

and other inorganic coatings" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 262 “Metallic and
other inorganic coatings, including for corrosion protection and corrosion testing of metals and alloys”
the secretariat of which is held by BSI.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an
identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by May 2023, and conflicting national standards shall be
withdrawn at the latest by May 2023.
