This document specifies the basic conditions concerning the method for determining the resistance of vitreous and porcelain enamelled articles to heat.
The method specified is applicable to vitreous and porcelain enamelled articles that are, in service, subjected to high temperature, for example, to some cooker components, exhaust pipe silencers, gas heating chimneys and flue pipes.

Dieses Dokument legt die Grundbedingungen für das Verfahren zur Bestimmung der Wärmebeständigkeit emaillierter Gegenstände fest.
Das festgelegte Verfahren ist auf emaillierte Gegenstände anwendbar, die im Gebrauch hohen Temperaturen ausgesetzt sind, z. B. für einige Herdteile, Abgas-Schalldämpfer, Gasheizungskamine und Abgasrohre.

Le présent document spécifie les conditions de base de la méthode de détermination de la résistance à la chaleur des pièces manufacturées recouvertes d‘émaux vitrifiés.
La méthode spécifiée s’applique aux pièces manufacturées recouvertes d‘émaux vitrifiés soumises en service à des températures élevées, telles que, par exemple, certains éléments de cuisinières, les silencieux de tuyaux d’échappement, les cheminées de chauffage au gaz et les tuyaux de raccordement.

Ta dokument določa osnovne pogoje v zvezi z metodo za določanje odpornosti
steklastih in porcelanasto emajliranih izdelkov proti toploti.
Navedena metoda se uporablja za steklaste in porcelanasto emajlirane izdelke, ki bodo med uporabo
izpostavljeni visoki temperaturi, na primer za nekatere komponente štedilnikov, dušilnike zvoka izpušnih cevi,
dimnike za plinsko ogrevanje in dimovodne cevi.

This document (EN ISO 4530:2022) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 107 "Metallic
and other inorganic coatings" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 262 “Metallic and
other inorganic coatings, including for corrosion protection and corrosion testing of metals and alloys”
the secretariat of which is held by BSI.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an
identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by May 2023, and conflicting national standards shall be
withdrawn at the latest by May 2023.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of
patent rights. CEN shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights.
