Adhesives - Determination of free monomer content in adhesives based on synthetic polymers

This European Standard specifies a simple test method for the gas-chromatographic determination of free monomer content in polymeric adhesives after specific treatment.
This test method can be used for the determination of acrylic, styrene, vinyl and other unsaturated monomers.
NOTE  This method could also be used for the determination of other monomers, if applicable.

Anwendungsbereich
Diese Europäische Norm legt ein einfaches gaschromatographisches Prüfverfahren zur Bestimmung
des freien Monomeranteils in polymeren Klebstoffen nach einer besonderen Behandlung fest.
Dieses Prüfverfahren kann verwendet werden für die Bestimmung von Acryl-, Styrol-, Vinyl- und anderen
ungesättigten Monomeren.
ANMERKUNG Dieses Verfahren könnte auch, falls zutreffend, für die Bestimmung von anderen Monomeren
angewendet werden.

1 Domaine d'application
La présente norme européenne spécifie une méthode simple permettant de déterminer par chromatographie en phase gazeuse, apres un traitement spécifique, la teneur en monomeres libres d'adhésifs a base de polymeres.
La présente norme peut etre utilisée pour la détermination de monomeres acryliques, styrene, vinyliques et d'autres monomeres non saturés.
NOTE   Cette méthode peut également etre utilisée avec d'autres monomeres, le cas échéant.
