Non-destructive testing of welds - Ultrasonic testing of welded joints - Acceptance levels
The 1st paragraph shall read now :
"This European Standard specifies ultrasonic acceptance levels, 2 and 3, for full penetration welded joints in ferritic steels, which corre-spond to the quality levels B and C of EN 25817. Other acceptance levels can be used by specification.".
The 3rd paragraph shall read now :
"These acceptance levels are applicable to testing carried out in accordance with the standards referred to in EN 12062.".

Der erste Absatz muss jetzt lauten:
?Diese Europäische Norm legt Zulässigkeitsgrenzen, 2 und 3, für die Ultraschallprüfung von voll durchgeschweißten Stumpfnähten in ferritischen Stählen fest, die den Bewertungsgruppen B und C von EN 25817 entsprechen. Es können auch andere Zulässigkeitsgrenzen nach einer Spezifikation benutzt werden."
Der dritte Absatz muss jetzt lauten:
?Diese Zulässigkeitsgrenzen sind anwendbar für Prüfungen, die nach den in EN 12062 zitierten Normen durchgeführt werden."

Le 1er alinéa doit indiquer maintenant :
« La présente norme européenne spécifie les niveaux d'acceptation 2 et 3 par le contrôle par ultrasons de joints en aciers ferritiques soudés a pleine pénétration, qui correspondent respectivement aux niveaux de qualité B et C de l'EN 25817. D'autres niveaux d'acceptation peuvent etre définis par une spécification. ».
Le 3eme alinéa doit indiquer maintenant :
« Ces niveaux d'acceptation sont applicables aux contrôles effectués conformément aux normes référencées dans l'EN 12062. ».

This amendment A1 modifies the European Standard EN 1712:1997; it was approved by CEN on 1 May 2002.

amendment into the relevant national standard without any alteration. Up-to-date lists and bibliographical references concerning such
national standards may be obtained on application to the Management Centre or to any CEN member.
