Open fronted gas-fired independent space heaters

This European Standard specifies the requirements and test methods for the construction, safety, marking and rational use of energy of open fronted gas-fired independent space heaters with and without a fan to assist with the transportation of flue gases, hereafter referred to as appliances.

Konvektions-Raumheizer für gasförmige Brennstoffe mit offener Verbrennungskammer

Diese Europäische Norm legt Anforderungen und Prüfbestimmungen für Bau, Sicherheit, Kennzeichnung und rationelle Energienutzung von Konvektions-Raumheizern für gasförmige Brennstoffe mit offener Verbrennungskammer fest mit und ohne Ventilator für den Abtransport der Abgase, im Folgenden als Gerät bezeichnet. Obwohl der Ventilator auch im Freien angebracht sein kann, deckt diese Norm nur die Nutzung des Gerätes, wenn die Teile in Räumen aufgestellt sind.
Sie gilt für gasbeheizte Konvektions-Raumheizer mit offener Verbrennungskammer der Arten B11AS, B11BS, B11CS;, B14AS und B14BS (in dieser Norm B1 genannt) für gasförmige Brennstoffe mit Verbrennungskammer,
   die mit atmosphärischem Brenner geliefert werden,
   die direkt an einen Schornstein oder an eine Einrichtung zur Abführung der Abgase angeschlossen sind (schornsteingebundene Geräte), siehe Ziffer 1,
   die eine Nennwärmebelastung unter 20 kW (bezogen auf den Heizwert) haben und
   die komplett mit gasführenden Komponenten, Brenner(n), Verbrennungskammer und Wärmeaustauscher geliefert werden.
Die vorliegende Europäische Norm gilt nicht für
   Geräte mit geschlossener Verbrennungskammer;
   Geräte mit dekorativem Brennstoffeffekt gemäß prEN 509;
   Geräte mit katalytischer Verbrennung;
   Warmlufterzeuger;
   Geräte, die mit einer Verschlussplatte installiert werden (siehe 3.3.3.3).
Die vorliegende Europäische Norm gilt nur für Geräte, die für eine Baumusterprüfung vorgesehen sind.
