Protective gloves against cold

This standard defines the requirements and text methods for gloves which protect against convective or conductive cold down - 50 oC. This cold can be linked to the climatic conditions or an industrial activity. The specific values of the different performance levels are decided by the special requirements for each class of risk or the special areas of application. Product tests can only be carried out for performance levels and not for levels of protection.

Schutzhandschuhe gegen Kälte

Diese Norm legt die Anforderungen und Prüfverfahren für Schutzhandschuhe gegen konvektive Kälte oder Kontaktkälte bis -50° C fest. Die Kälte kann mit den klimatischen Bedingungen oder einer beruflichen Tätigkeit zusammenhängen. Die spezifischen Werte der verschiedenen Leistungsstufen werden durch die speziellen Anforderungen für jede Risikoklasse oder den speziellen Anwendungsbereich bestimmt. Produktprüfungen können nur für Leistungsstufen und nicht für Schutzstufen erfolgen.

La présente norme définit les exigences et méthodes d'essai des gants de protection contre le froid transmis par convection ou conduction jusqu'a -50° C.   Ce froid peut etre lié aux conditions climatiques ou a une activité industrielle. Les valeurs spécifiques des différents niveaux de performance sont   déterminées d'apres les exigences propres a chaque catégorie de risque ou a chaque domaine d'application spécial. Les essais de produits ne peuvent etre effectués que pour des niveaux de performance et non pour des niveaux de protection
