Building hardware - Electrically controlled exit systems for use on escape routes - Requirements and test methods

This European standard specifies requirements for the manufacture; performance and testing of electrically controlled exit systems, designed for use on escape routes. These systems consist of at least the following elements:- Initiating element for requesting the release of electrical locking element in order to exit;- Electrical locking element for securing an exit door;- Electrical controlling element for supplying, connecting and controlling electrical locking element and initiating element. In addition, these electrically controlled exit systems can include time delay and/or denied exit mode. This European Standard covers electrically controlled exit systems placed on the market as a complete unit (e.g. mortise lock, lever handle, keeper, initiating element, electrical locking element, electrical controlling element, etc.). The components are tested as a single product. This European Standard covers electrically controlled exit systems which are either manufactured and placed on the market in their entirety by one manufacturer or assembled from sub-assemblies produced by more than one manufacturer and subsequently placed on the market as a kit in a single transaction. The suitability of an electrically controlled exit system for use on fire/smoke resisting door assemblies is determined by fire performance tests conducted in addition to the performance tests required by this European Standard.

La présente Norme européenne spécifie les exigences relatives aux performances et aux essais des systèmes de fermeture contrôlés électriquement, spécifiquement conçus pour être utilisés dans des situations d'urgence ou de panique sur des voies d'évacuation.
La présente Norme européenne traite des systèmes de fermeture contrôlés électriquement qui sont soit fabriqués ou mis sur le marché dans leur intégralité par un fabricant ou assemblés à partir de sous-ensembles produits par plus d'un fabricant et ultérieurement mis sur le marché en tant que kit au cours d'une transaction unique.
Ces systèmes de fermeture contrôlés électriquement comportent au moins les éléments suivants, séparés ou combinés :
   élément d’initialisation pour demander le déverrouillage des éléments de verrouillage électrique afin de permettre l'évacuation ;
   élément de verrouillage électrique pour le verrouillage d'une porte de sortie ;
   élément de contrôle électrique pour alimenter, raccorder et contrôler l'élément de verrouillage électrique et l'élément d’initialisation ;
   ces systèmes de fermeture contrôlés électriquement peuvent également inclure une temporisation et/ou un mode de sortie non autorisée.
Les produits couverts par la présente norme sont destinés à être utilisés pour les portes sur des voies d'évacuation, qu'il s'agisse de blocs-portes résistant au feu ou non.
Exemples de produits couverts par la présente Norme européenne :
   systèmes de fermeture contrôlés électriquement conçus pour être utilisés dans des situations d'urgence, où les personnes sont familières avec l'utilisation de la sortie et de sa quincaillerie ;
   systèmes de fermeture contrôlés électriquement conçus pour être utilisés dans des situations de panique, où les personnes ne sont pas toujours familières avec l'utilisation de la sortie et de sa quincaillerie ;
   systèmes de fermeture contrôlés électriquement destinés à être utilisés uniquement sur les vantaux de portes montés sur pivots ou paumelles ;
   gamme de systèmes de fermeture contrôlés électriquement, comprenant ceux destinés à être utilisés sur des portes à deux vantaux ;
   cas exceptionnel des systèmes de fermeture contrôlés électriquement destinés à être utilisés sur des portes pour issues de secours à un seul vantail à ouverture vers l'intérieur. Dans la présente Norme européenne, il est supposé que les portes pour issues de secours s'ouvrent généralement vers l'extérieur afin de permettre une évacuation en toute sécurité. Il existe toutefois des cas, comme pour les portes de chambres d'hôpital ou d'hôtel, les portes de salles de grade, etc. où les autorités de construction autorisent, à titre exceptionnel, l'ouverture de la porte de sortie dans le sens contraire à la direction de sortie.
Produits non couverts par la présente Norme européenne :
   conceptions particulières de systèmes de fermeture contrôlés électriquement pour lesquelles seules les dimensions requises pour des raisons de sécurité sont spécifiées ;
   éléments d'un système de sécurité autres que ceux directement impliqués dans le contrôle d'une porte pour issues de secours ;
   fermetures à manoeuvre mécanique comprenant des fonctions électriques qui n'ont pas de lien avec le déverrouillage d'un élément de verrouillage électrique. Ces dispositifs entrent dans le champ de l'EN 1125 ou de l'EN 179 ;
   systèmes de fermeture contrôlés électriquement et destinés à être utilisés sur des portes à deux vantaux à ouverture vers l'intérieur.
Systèmes de fermeture contrôlés électriquement destinés à être utilisés par les grands handicapés ; en raison de la diversité des infirmités, il convient que de tels systèmes ainsi que leurs performances soient spécifiés par accord entre le prescripteur et le fabricant.

Ta evropski standard določa zahteve za proizvodnjo, delovanje in preskušanje električno krmiljenih sistemov izhodov, načrtovanih za uporabo za evakuacijske poti. Ti sistemi zajemajo vsaj naslednje elemente: – sprožilni element za zahtevanje sprostitve električnega zaklepnega elementa za izhod; – električni zaklepni element za zaklepanje izstopnih vrat; – električni krmilni element za napajanje, povezavo in krmiljenje električnega zaklepnega elementa ter sprožilnega elementa. Poleg tega lahko ti električno krmiljeni sistemi izhodov zajemajo časovno zakasnitev in/ali način zavrnjenega izhoda. Ta evropski standard obravnava električno krmiljene sisteme izhodov, ki so na trgu dostopni kot zaključena enota (npr. stavbna ključavnica, kljuka, vratar, sprožilni element, električni zaklepni element, električni krmilni element itd.). Komponente se preskusijo kot en sam izdelek. Ta evropski standard obravnava električno krmiljene sisteme izhodov, ki jih v celoti proizvede in da na trg en proizvajalec ali pa so sestavljeni iz podsestavov, ki jih je proizvedlo več proizvajalcev, pozneje pa se na trg dajo kot komplet v enem samem poslu. Ustreznost električno krmiljenega sistema izhoda za uporabo pri sestavih požarnih ali dimnih vrat se določi s preskusi delovanja med požarom, ki se izvajajo poleg preskusov delovanja, opredeljenih v tem evropskem standardu.
