Stationary training equipment - Part 4: Strength training benches, additional specific safety requirements and test methods

This part of EN 957 specifies safety requirements for stationary strength training benches and free-standing barbell racks used to perform exercises during use in addition to the general safety requirements of EN 957-1 and should be read in conjunction with it. This part of EN 957 is applicable to stationary training equipment type benches (type 4) (hereinafter referred to as benches) with the classes S, H and I.

Dieser Teil der EN 957 legt sicherheitstechnische Anforderungen für stationäre Kraft-Trainingsbänke und Bänke mit freistehenden Hantelablagen im Gebrauch fest, zusätzlich zu den allgemeinen sicherheitstech-nischen Anforderungen nach EN 957-1 und sollte in Verbindung damit gelesen werden.
Dieser Teil der EN 957 gilt für stationäre Trainingsgeräte vom Typ Bänke (Typ 4) der Klassen S, H und I (im Folgenden Bänke genannt).

La présente partie de l’EN 957 spécifie les exigences de sécurité relatives aux bancs pour haltères fixes et aux repose-haltères indépendants utilisés pour effectuer les exercices, et complète les exigences de sécurité générales de l’EN 957-1 ; il convient donc de la lire conjointement avec l’EN 957-1.
La présente partie de l’EN 957 s’applique aux appareils d’entraînement fixes de type bancs (type 4), (ci-après appelés bancs) des classes S, H et I.
