Vitreous and porcelain enamels - Production of specimens for testing enamels on sheet steel, sheet aluminium and cast iron (ISO 28764:2015)
This International Standard specifies a method for the production of specimens suitable for testing
vitreous and porcelain enamel coatings.
It specifies two different specimens:
— specimens taken from production articles;
— specially produced specimens.
NOTE Only the specially produced specimens can be used when the loss in mass per unit area of the enamel
coating is to be determined quantitatively, as specimens cut from enamelled articles can reduce the accuracy of
the test method.

Diese Internationale Norm legt ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von Proben fest, die für die Prüfung von Emailschichten geeignet sind.
Sie legt zwei unterschiedliche Probenarten fest:
Proben, entnommen von Gegenständen aus dem Herstellungsprozess;
speziell angefertigte Proben.
ANMERKUNG Wenn der Masseverlust je Flächeneinheit der Emailschicht quantitativ zu bestimmen ist, können nur speziell angefertigte Proben verwendet werden, weil durch Proben, die aus emaillierten Gegenständen entnommen werden, die Genauigkeit des Prüfverfahrens verringert werden kann.

ISO 28764:2015 spécifie une méthode de production d'éprouvettes appropriées aux essais des revêtements émaillés vitrifiés.
Elle distingue deux éprouvettes différentes :
- les éprouvettes prélevées sur un produit de série ;
- les éprouvettes fabriquées spécialement.
NOTE Lorsque la perte de masse surfacique du revêtement émaillé doit être déterminée de manière quantitative, seules les éprouvettes fabriquées spécialement peuvent être utilisées. En effet, les éprouvettes prélevées sur des produits émaillés sont susceptibles de réduire l'exactitude de la méthode d'essai.

Ta mednarodni standard določa metodo za izdelavo vzorcev, primernih za preskus
steklastih in keramičnih emajlov.
Določa dva različna vzorca:
– vzorci, zajeti iz proizvodnih izdelkov;
– posebej izdelani vzorci.
OPOMBA Pri količinskem določanju izgube mase na območje enote emajla je mogoče uporabiti le posebej izdelane vzorce, ker lahko vzorci, izrezani iz emajliranih izdelkov, zmanjšajo natančnost preskusne metode.

This document (EN ISO 28764:2015) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 107
"Metallic and other inorganic coatings" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 262
“Metallic and other inorganic coatings” the secretariat of which is held by BSI.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an
identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by May 2016, and conflicting national standards shall be
withdrawn at the latest by May 2016.
