Paints and varnishes - Coating materials and coating systems for exterior wood - Part 2: Performance specification
This part of EN 927 addresses performance criteria for coating systems on exterior wood. Performance requirements are specified according to the categories of 'end use' and 'exposure conditions' (defined in EN 927-1) in terms of the results of natural weathering performance testing carried out in accordance with EN 927-3:2000. A mandatory water permeability test in accordance with EN 927-5 : 2000 is also specified. Additional optional tests are identified which may be used by suppliers to provide voluntary additional information, to a standardized format, on aspects of performance relevant to specific building components such as windows.

Dieser Teil von EN 927 beschreibt Anforderungen für Beschichtungssysteme auf Holz im Außenbereich. Die Anforderungen werden nach den Anwendungsstufen und Beanspruchungsbedingungen (definiert in EN 927-1) anhand der Ergebnisse von Freibewitterung nach EN 927-3:2000 festgelegt. Eine verbindliche Prüfung der Wasserdurchlässigkeit nach EN 927-5 : 2000 wird ebenfalls festgelegt. Zusätzliche freiwillige Prüfungen werden angegeben, die von Herstellern angewendet werden können, um auf genormter Grundlage wahlweise zusätzliche Angaben über Anforderugnen bei speziellen Bauteilen wie Fenstern zu erhalten.

La présente partie de l'EN 927 établit des criteres de performance s'appliquant aux systemes de revetement pour le bois en extérieur. Les exigences de performances sont définies selon les catégories "d'utilisation finale" et de "conditions d'exposition" (définies dans l'EN 927-1) en fonction des résultats de l'essai de vieillissement naturel selon l'EN 927-3 : 2000. Il est également obligatoire d'effectuer un essai de détermination de la perméabilité a l'eau selon l'EN 927-5 : 2000. Des essais complémentaires facultatifs sont identifiés ; les fournisseurs peuvent les réaliser, sous une forme normalisée, pour donner volontairement des informations complémentaires sur des
aspects des performances spécifiques a certains éléments du bâtiment, comme par exemple les fenetres.
