This document specifies functional requirements (see Clause 4) and specific safety requirements for four types of horses and bucks (see Table 1) in addition to the general safety requirements in EN 913:2018+A1:2021.

This document specifies functional requirements and specific safety requirements in addition to the general safety standard EN 913 for gymnastic and vaulting boxes for individual or multifunctional use. This document also specifies requirements when multifunctional boxes are used in combination with accessories.

This document specifies general safety requirements and test methods for all pieces of gymnastic and sports equipment and for all pieces of equipment for the use of physical education, training and competition, intended for use supervised by a competent person and not specified in other, individual standards and/or federation rules.

This document specifies functional requirements (see Clause 4) and specific safety requirements in addition to the general safety requirements in EN 913 (see Clause 5), which is read in conjunction with this standard.
This document is applicable to three types of parallel bars (see Table 1) intended for use under supervision of a competent person.

This European Standard is applicable to playing field goals used for competition, training or recreational play, indoor and outdoor areas including educational establishments and public recreational areas.

i)   goals which are classified as toys under the responsibility of CEN/TC 52;
j)   for portable and permanent socketed playing field goals for American football;
k)   goals which are intended to move in use (e.g. Lacrosse, rink hockey and roller hockey).

This document specifies the functional requirements for 4 types and 2 sizes (see Clause 3) and the safety requirements (see Clause 4) for football goals.
It is applicable to football goals for training and competition in outdoor sports facilities and indoor arenas.
The following football goals are excluded:
a)   EN 16579: goals with a size of 5,00 m × 2,00 m and 7,32 m × 2,44 m and with a total weight of ≥ 10 kg and ≤ 42 kg (total weight includes net, net fixing and any permanently attached anchoring or stabilizing system);
b)   EN 16664: (lightweight goals).

This European Standard specifies a method of test for the determination of shock absorption characteristics of sports mats types 1 to 8 of EN 12503 1:2013, 9 to 11 of FprEN 12503 2:2015 and 12 of EN 12503 3:2001.

This European Standard specifies safety requirements (including performance requirements) for 3 types of high jump and pole vault mats used in school, training and competition (see Clause 4).
This standard specifies performance and safety values for shock absorption of the mat and anti-slip characteristics of the base.
NOTE   For the specific requirements of international official competitions, see appropriate international regulations.

This European Standard specifies the functional and safety requirements and test methods for lightweight goals, which are classified in 4.
This standard is not applicable to goals:
a)   according to EN 748 (football);
b)   EN 749 (handball);
c)   EN 750 (hockey);
d)   EN 1270 (basketball);
e)   EN 15312 (free access multi-sports);
f)   EN 13451-4 (water polo);
g)   to prEN 16579 (portable and fixed goals);

It is applicable to playing field goals used for training or recreational play, indoor and outdoor including educational and public establishments and recreational areas.

This European Standard specifies the functional requirements (see Clause 3) and the safety requirements (see Clause 4) for volleyball equipment.
This European Standard is applicable to 2 types and 5 classes of volleyball equipment (see 3.2) which are used indoors and outdoors.
This European Standard is not applicable to beach volleyball.
This European Standard does not cover umpire stand (for the 1st official referee).

This European Standard specifies safety requirements (including performance requirements) for 8 types of gymnastic mats used in school, training and competition, see Clause 4.
The performance and safety values cover shock absorption, anti-slip characteristics of the base and top friction characteristics of the surface.
NOTE   For the specific requirements of international official competitions, see appropriate international regulations.

This European Standard is applicable to free access multi-sports equipment and combinations intended for permanent installation (not temporary), which includes, but not exclusively, equipment for sports such as badminton, basketball, football, handball, hockey, table tennis, tennis, volleyball.
This European Standard specifies requirements, including safety, for the equipment itself as well as for its in-stallation, inspection and maintenance. This European Standard is applicable to multi-sports equipment intended for individual and collective public use primarily by children and teenagers.
This type of equipment is not intended for use by very young children, e.g. less than 36 months.
This European Standard is not applicable to playground equipment as defined in EN 1176-1, free access fa-cilities used for roller sports equipment (see EN 14974), fitness trails, artificial climbing structures (see

This European Standard does not deal with beach equipment, the ground surfaces the local environment and any feature outside the multi-sports equipment.
This European Standard does not include any specific requirements other than for access and egress for dis-abled users.

This European Standard specifies the functional requirements (see Clause 3) and the safety requirements (see Clause 4) for badminton equipment, excluding rackets and shuttlecocks.
This European Standard is applicable to three types and four classes for indoor standing as well as for indoor wheel chair badminton equipment for competition and training (see 3.1).
Other types and sizes as those described in this European Standard are permissible provided the safety requirements of this European Standard are taken into consideration.

This European Standard specifies functional requirements for five types of trampolines (see Clause 3) and specific safety requirements (see Clause 4) in addition to the general safety requirements in EN 913.
This European Standard is applicable to five types of trampolines intended for use under qualified supervision as identified in Table 1.
It does not apply to tumble tracks (fast tracks), trampolines and mini-trampolines intended for home use, safety harnesses or other accessories.
