IEC 60763-1:2010 contains the definitions required for the understanding of all three parts of IEC 60763, the classification of material into types, and the general requirements applicable to all material covered by the standard. The main changes with respect to the previous edition is that the specification was brought in line with the second edition of IEC 60641-1(2007).

IEC 60763-3-1:2010 gives the requirements for laminated precompressed boards comprised of 100 % sulphate wood pulp. The main changes with respect to the previous edition are:
- requirements for the new properties in Part 2 have been integrated;
- specifications for type LB3.3.1 and LB3.3.2 have been deleted.

IEC 60641-3-1:2008 gives the requirements for pressboard for electrical purposes comprised of 100 % sulphate wood pulp or a mixture of sulphate wood pulp and cotton. The main changes with respect to the previous edition are:
- Requirements for types B.0.3 and B.5.3 were added;
- The precompressed type B.3.1 was divided in B.3.1A and B.3.1B (higher flexibility);
- Types B.6.1 has been replaced with a new type, but the designation has been kept;
- Type B.7.1 has been deleted;
- The thickness relation of the properties has been simplified; and
- The values were adjusted to today's needs of users.

This part of IEC 60641 gives the requirements for presspaper for electrical purposes comprised of 100 % sulphate wood pulp, 100 % cotton or a mixture of sulphate wood pulp and cotton. The main changes with respect to the previous edition are: type P.6 has been replaced with a new type, but the designation has been kept, type P.7 has been deleted, the thickness relation of the properties has been simplified and the values were adjusted to today's needs of users.

This part of IEC 60641 contains definitions related to a classification of, and the general requirements to be fulfilled by, pressboard and presspaper for electrical purposes. The main changes with respect to the previous edition are: the kind of surface finish shall no longer be specified in the standard, fixed nominal thicknesses have been replaced by preferred thicknesses, types B.6 and P.6 have been replaced, but the designations have been kept and types B.7 and P.7 have been deleted.

IEC 60763-2:2007 gives methods of test applicable for the material classified in IEC 60763-1. This edition includes the following significant technical changes with respect to the previous edition:
The standard has generally been revised editorially and brought into line with IEC 60641-2;
The test method for the determination of the internal ply strength has been replaced with an alternative method; and
The test method for the determination of the thermal resistance has been enlarged in its scope.

Applies to pressboard and presspaper for electrical purposes. The series does not apply to laminated material. This part specifies the test methods to be used in testing pressboard and presspaper for electrical purposes to meet the requirements prescribed in the specification sheets of Part 3. NOTE In this standard, reference is made in several places to ISO standards accompanied by a short description of the method used. It is to be understood that this short description is meant for identification purposes only and that all details should be taken from the ISO standard itself. The main changes with respect to the previous edition are listed below: The following test methods have been cancelled: - Flexibility - Conductivity of the organic extract - Contamination of liquid dielectrics The following test methods have been rewritten: - Compressibility - Conductivity of the aqueous extract - Cohesion between plies The following test method has introduced: - Determination of metallic particles with X-ray.

Gives test methods (type and dimension of corrugation, dimensional changes on drying, compressive strength and compression modulus) for the materials classified in IEC 61628-1.

Contains the definitions, designations and general requirements of corrugated pressboard and presspaper for electrical purposes.

Contains the definitions, designations and general requirements of aramid pressboard for electrical purposes. The selection of these materials is also recommended for use in applications other than electrical insulation.

Gives the methods of test applicable for the materials classified in IEC 61629-1.
