Derivatives from coal pyrolysis - Coal tar based oils: Coal tar fuel - Specifications and test methods

This European Standard gives the specifications of and the test methods for liquid fuels derived from coal tar. The specifications also apply to shale oil, aromatic mineral oils, and lignite tar.
Preheating of liquid fuel oils according to this standard can be necessary for transport, storage, and combustion.
The mixing with fuel oils from other raw materials should be avoided.
This standard does not cover marine fuel applications.

Diese Europäische Norm legt Anforderungen und Prüfverfahren für Heizöle aus Steinkohlenteer fest. Die Anforderungen gelten auch für Schieferöl, mineralölstämmige Aromatenfraktionen sowie Braunkohlenteer.
Zum Transport, zur Lagerung und zur Verbrennung dieser Öle kann eine Vorwärmung erforderlich sein.
Das Mischen mit Heizölen aus anderen Rohstoffen sollte vermieden werden.
Diese Norm gilt nicht für Brennstoffe für die Schifffahrt.

Le préchauffage des combustibles liquides selon la présente norme peut être nécessaire pour le transport, le stockage et la combustion.

EN 14156:2003 - "Derivatives from coal pyrolysis - Coal tar based oils: Coal tar fuel - Specifications and test methods" (CEN) defines quality specifications and standardized test methods for liquid fuels derived from coal tar.
