This document specifies the requirements for design, specification, type testing and production testing and inspection of dedicated LPG manually operated cylinder valves for use with and directly connected to transportable refillable LPG cylinders.
It also includes requirements for associated equipment for vapour and liquid service. Bursting discs and/or fusible plugs are not covered in this document.
Annex B identifies requirements for production testing and inspection.
This document excludes other LPG cylinder devices which are not an integral part of the dedicated manually operated cylinder valve.
This document does not apply to cylinder valves for fixed automotive installations and ball valves.
NOTE For self-closing LPG cylinder valves see ISO 14245. For cylinder valves for compressed, dissolved and other liquefied gases see ISO 10297[2], ISO 17871[6] or ISO 17879[7].

Dieses Dokument legt Anforderungen an Auslegung, Spezifikation, Baumusterprüfung sowie Produktions-prüfung und Inspektion von handbetätigten Flaschenventilen für Flüssiggas (LPG, en: Liquified Petroleum Gas) zur Verwendung mit ortsbeweglichen, wiederbefüllbaren LPG-Flaschen fest, an denen die Ventile direkt angeschlossen sind.
Es enthält auch Anforderungen an zugehöriges Zubehör für den Betrieb in der Gas- und Flüssigphase. Berstscheiben und/oder Schmelzsicherungen werden nicht von diesem Dokument abgedeckt.
Anhang B enthält Anforderungen an die Produktionsprüfung und Inspektion.
Dieses Dokument schließt andere LPG-Flascheneinrichtungen aus, die keinen integralen Teil des hand-betätigten Flaschenventils darstellen.
Dieses Dokument gilt nicht für in Fahrzeugen fest eingebaute Flaschenventile und Kugelventile.
ANMERKUNG Für selbst-schließende LPG-Flaschenventile siehe ISO 14245. Für Flaschenventile für verdichtete, gelöste und andere verflüssigte Gase siehe ISO 10297 [2], ISO 17871 [6] oder ISO 17879 [7].

Le présent document spécifie les exigences de conception, les spécifications, les essais de type et les essais et contrôles en production des valves de bouteilles de GPL dédiées à fonctionnement manuel, destinées à être utilisées avec, et directement raccordées à, des bouteilles de GPL transportables rechargeables.
Il comprend également des exigences relatives aux équipements associés pour le service en phases gazeuse et liquide. Les disques de rupture et/ou les bouchons fusibles ne sont pas couverts par le présent document.
L'Annexe B précise les exigences relatives aux essais et contrôles en production.
Le présent document exclut les autres dispositifs pour bouteilles de GPL qui ne font pas partie intégrante de la valve de bouteille dédiée à fonctionnement manuel.
Le présent document ne s'applique pas aux valves de bouteilles pour installations automobiles fixes, ni aux robinets à tournant sphérique.

Ta dokument določa zahteve za konstruiranje, specifikacijo, tipsko preskušanje ter proizvodno preskušanje in preverjanje namenskih samozapornih ventilov za jeklenke za utekočinjeni naftni plin (LPG), ki se uporabljajo s premičnimi, ponovno polnljivimi jeklenkami za utekočinjeni naftni plin (LPG) in so nanje neposredno priključeni. Vključuje tudi zahteve za pripadajočo opremo za delovanje s paro in tekočino. Ta dokument ne zajema razpočnih plošč in/ali stikal za varovalko. Dodatek A opredeljuje zahteve za proizvodno preskušanje in preverjanje. Ta dokument ne vključuje drugih naprav za jeklenke za utekočinjeni naftni plin, ki niso sestavni del namenskega samozapornega ventila za jeklenke. This document (EN ISO 15995:2019) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 58 "Gas
cylinders" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 286 “Liquefied petroleum gas equipment
and accessories” the secretariat of which is held by NSAI.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an
identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by March 2020, and conflicting national standards shall
be withdrawn at the latest by March 2020.
