Water supply - Specification for indirectly heated unvented (closed) storage water heaters

This European Standard specifies the constructional and performance requirements and methods of test for indirectly heated, unvented (closed) storage water heaters of up to 2 000 l volume suitable for connection to a water supply at a pressure between 0,05 MPa and 1,0 MPa (0,5 bar and 10 bar), and fitted with control and safety devices designed to prevent the temperature of the stored drinking water from reaching 95 °C.
Whilst storage water heaters intended primarily for direct heating are not covered by this standard, it does allow the provision of electric heating elements for auxiliary use.

Wasserversorgung - Bestimmung für mittelbar beheizte, unbelüftete (geschlossene) Speicher-Wassererwärmer

Diese Europäische Norm legt die Anforderungen an die Konstruktionstechnik und die Leistung und Prüf-verfahren für mittelbar (indirekte) beheizte, unbelüftete (geschlossene) Speicher-Wassererwärmer bis zu 2 000 l Volumen fest, die für den Anschluss an ein Wasserversorgungssystem bei einem Druck zwischen 0,05 MPa und 1,0 MPa (0,5 bar und 10 bar) geeignet und mit Regel- und Sicherheitseinrichtungen ausge-rüstet sind, die so ausgelegt sind, dass die Temperatur des gespeicherten Trinkwassers 95 °C nicht übersteigt.
Obwohl diese Norm keine Speicher-Wassererwärmer behandelt, die hauptsächlich für direkte Erwärmung vorgesehen sind, lässt sie die Bereitstellung von elektrischen Heizelementen zu Hilfszwecken zu.

La présente Norme européenne définit les exigences de construction et de performance et les méthodes d'essai applicables aux préparateurs d’eau chaude par accumulation à chauffage indirect non ouverts à l’air libre (fermés) d'une capacité maximale de 2 000 l, adaptés pour être raccordés à un réseau d'alimentation en eau à une pression comprise entre 0,05 MPa et 1,0 MPa (0,5 bar et 10 bar), et équipés de dispositifs de réglage et de sécurité conçus pour empêcher que la température de l'eau potable stockée n’atteigne 95 °C.
Bien que la présente norme ne s'applique pas aux préparateurs d’eau chaude destinés avant tout au chauffage direct, elle permet la mise à disposition d'éléments de chauffe électrique à usage d’appoint.

Ta evropski standard določa konstrukcijske zahteve in zahteve glede zmogljivosti ter preskusne metode za posredno ogrevane neprezračevane (zaprte) akumulacijske grelnike vode za največjo prostornino 2000 l, ki so primerni za priključitev na vir oskrbe z vodo pri tlaku od 0,05 Mpa do 1,0 Mpa (0,5 in 10 bara) ter opremljeni z nadzornimi in varnostnimi napravami, ki preprečujejo, da bi temperatura pitne vode v grelniku dosegla 100 °C.
Ta standard ne zajema grelnikov vode, ki so namenjeni predvsem za neposredno ogrevanje, vendar dovoljuje uporabo dodatnih električnih grelnih elementov.
