Copper and copper alloys - Determination of cadmium content - Flame atomic absorption spectrometric method (FAAS)

This European Standard specifies a flame atomic absorption spectrometric method (FAAS) for the determination of the cadmium content of copper and copper alloys in the form of unwrought, wrought and cast products.
The method is applicable to products having a cadmium mass fractions between 0,000 5 % and 0,1 %.

Diese Europäische Norm legt ein flammenatomabsorptionsspektrometrisches Verfahren (FAAS) für die
Bestimmung von Cadmiumgehalten in Kupfer und Kupferlegierungen fest, die als Gussstücke oder als
plastisch oder nicht plastisch geformte Produkte vorliegen.
Das Verfahren ist geeignet für Produkte mit Cadmium-Massenanteilen zwischen 0,000 5 % und 0,1 %.

La présente Norme européenne spécifie une méthode par spectrométrie d’absorption atomique dans la
flamme (SAAF) pour la détermination du cadmium dans le cuivre et les alliages de cuivre sous la forme de
produits non corroyés, corroyés ou moulés.
La méthode est applicable aux produits ayant des teneurs (fraction en masse) en cadmium comprises entre
0,000 5 % et 0,1 %.

Ta evropski standard določa metodo z uporabo spektrometrije s plamensko atomsko absorpcijo (FAAS) za določevanje vsebnosti bakra in bakrovih zlitin v neobdelanih, obdelanih in livarskih izdelkih. Ta metoda se uporablja pri izdelkih, ki imajo maso delcev kadmija med 0,0005 % in 0,1 %.
