  • After conditioning, dry thickness measured using 12 readings; discard highest and lowest and use mean of the remaining 10 to 0.1 mm.
  • Reduction (%) = (wet thickness − dry thickness) / wet thickness × 100.
• Reporting: Test report must identify the product, reference EN 15819, describe specimen preparation and test conditions, provide wet/dry thickness and % reduction, any deviations, and test dates.
