Space project management - General requirements - Part 6: Information/Documentation management

The present document "information/documentation management" is part of the collection of space standards. Its purpose is to define the principles and requirements to be observed during the management of project information (including documentation). This standard applies to all the documents and the information contained therein, irrespective of media in which they are stored and/or transmitted. The requirements specified herein apply to and affect the customer and supplier at all levels, when the capability to design and supply conforming product needs to be demonstrated.

Diese Norm ¿Informations-/Dokumentationsmanagement" ist Teil 6 von EN 13290 Raumfahrt-Projektmanagement - Allgemeine Anforderungen. Ihr Zweck ist die Festlegung der Grundsätze und Anforderungen, die in Bezug auf das Management von Projektinformationen (einschließlich Dokumentation) zu beachten sind.
Diese Norm gilt für alle Dokumente und die darin enthaltenen Informationen, unabhängig von den Medien, in oder auf denen sie gespeichert oder weitergeleitet werden.
Die in dieser Norm festgelegten Anforderungen betreffen und gelten für Kunden und Lieferanten auf allen Ebenen, wenn der Nachweis der Fähigkeit zu Design und Lieferung konformer Produkte erbracht werden muss.
Das Informationsmanagement wird in allen Projektphasen durchgeführt.
Aus Sicht eines speziellen Projektinhalts sollten die in dieser Norm definierten Anforderungen angepasst werden, um sie mit den tatsächlichen Anforderungen eines speziellen Projektprofils und spezieller Projektumstände in Übereinstimmung zu bringen.
ANMERKUNG   Anpassung ist ein Prozess, in dem einzelne Anforderungen in Spezifikationen, Normen und ähnlichen Dokumenten nach Bewertung für ein bestimmtes Projekt ausgewählt und in Ausnahmefällen auch modifiziert oder indem neue Anforderungen aufgenommen werden.

La présente Norme "Gestion de l'information et de la documentation" est la partie 6 de EN 13290 Management des projets spatiaux - Exigences générales. Elle a pour objet de définir les principes et exigences à respecter pour la gestion de l'information d'un projet (y compris la documentation).
La présente Norme s'applique à l'ensemble de la documentation et aux informations qui y figurent quel que soit le support utilisé pour leur stockage ou leur transmission.
Les exigences spécifiées dans la présente Norme s'appliquent à tous les niveaux au client et au fournisseur, dès lors qu'il est nécessaire de démontrer la capacité à concevoir et à fournir des produits conformes.
La gestion de l'information est mise en ¿uvre pendant toutes les phases du projet.
Dans le cadre d'un projet spécifique, il convient d'approprier les exigences définies dans la présente norme en fonction des exigences spécifiques à un projet particulier, à son profil et à son contexte.
NOTE   L'appropriation est le processus permettant d'évaluer chacune des exigences des spécifications, normes et documents associés et de les appliquer à un projet donné par sélection, et dans quelques cas exceptionnels, modification d'exigences existantes ou addition de nouvelles exigences.

This standard defines the requirements for selection, control, procurement and usage of EEE components for space projects.
This standard differentiates between three classes of components through three different sets of standardization requirements (clauses) to be met.
The three classes provide for three levels of trade-off between assurance and risk. The highest assurance and lowest risk is provided by class 1 and the lowest assurance and highest risk by class 3. Procurement costs are typically highest for class 1 and lowest for class 3. Mitigation and other engineering measures may decrease the total cost of ownership differences between the three classes. The project objectives, definition and constraints determine which class or classes of components are appropriate to be utilised within the system and subsystems.

The requirements of this document apply to all parties involved at all levels in the integration of EEE components into space segment hardware and launchers.

The Standard defines w orkmanship requirements, the acceptance and rejection criteria for high-reliability assemblies intended to withstand normal terrestrial conditions and the environment imposed by space flight.
The mounting and supporting of components, terminals and conductors specified in this standard applies only to assemblies designed to continuously operate over the mission w ithin the temperature limits of -55 °C to +85 °C at solder joint level.
Requirements related to printed circuit boards are contained in ECSS-Q-ST-70-60 (equivalent to EN 16602-70-60) and ECSS-Q-ST-70-12 (equivalent to EN 16602-70-12).
This Standard does not cover the qualification and acceptance of the EQM and FM equipment w ith high-reliability electronic circuits of surface mount, through hole and solderless assemblies.
This Standard does not cover verification of thermal properties for component assembly.
This Standard does not cover pressfit connectors.
The qualification and acceptance tests of equipment manufactured in accordance w ith this Standard are covered by ECSS-EST-10-03 (equivalent to EN 16603-10-03).
