Plastics - Unplasticized poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC-U) profiles for building applications - Part 2: PVC-U profiles and PVC-UE profiles for internal and external wall and ceiling finishes

This European Standard specifies the health and safety requirements for unplasticized poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC-U) profiles and cellular unplasticized poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC-UE) profiles for interior and exterior wall and ceiling finishes. It also specifies methods for the evaluation of conformity of the products to the requirements, and includes requirements for their marking.
The products are intended for use as wall and ceiling finishes for internal and external applications according to the manufacturer's specifications, which may include specifications for the fixings.
Profiles for the management of electrical power cables, communication cables and power track systems used for the distribution of electrical power, roofline products (fascia and soffit) including guttering, internal trim profiles including window boards and profiles for windows or doors are not covered by this European Standard.

In dieser Europäischen Norm werden die Gesundheits- und Sicherheitsanforderungen an Profile aus weichmacherfreiem
Polyvinylchlorid (PVC-U) und an Profile aus geschäumtem weichmacherfreiem Polyvinylchlorid
(PVC-UE) für Wand- und Deckenbekleidungen für Innen- und Außenanwendung festgelegt. Die Norm legt
darüber hinaus Verfahren für die Bewertung der Konformität der Produkte mit den Anforderungen fest, einschließlich
der Anforderungen an deren Kennzeichnung.
Die Produkte sind vorgesehen für die Verwendung als Wand- und Deckenbekleidungen für die Innen- und
Außenanwendung nach den Spezifikationen des Herstellers, die Spezifikationen für die Befestigungen enthalten
dürfen.
Profile für die Führung elektrischer Stromkabel, Datenkabel und Stromschienen für die Verteilung von
elektrischem Strom, Dachverkleidungsprodukte (Dachgesimse und Soffitten) einschließlich Dachrinnen,
Innenverkleidungsprofile einschließlich Fensterbretter und Fenster- oder Türprofile werden durch diese
Europäische Norm nicht abgedeckt.1)

La présente Norme européenne spécifie les exigences de santé et de sécurité relatives aux profilés en
poly(chlorure de vinyle) non plastifié (PVC-U) et aux profilés en poly(chlorure de vinyle) non plastifié expansé
(PVC-UE) pour finitions des murs et plafonds intérieurs et extérieurs. Elle spécifie également des méthodes
d’évaluation de la conformité des produits aux exigences, et inclut des exigences pour leur marquage.
Les produits sont destinés à être utilisés comme finitions de murs et plafonds pour applications intérieures et
extérieures selon les spécifications du fabricant, qui peuvent inclure des spécifications pour les fixations.
La présente Norme européenne ne traite pas des profilés pour la gestion des câbles d'énergie électrique, des
câbles de communication et des chemins d’alimentation utilisés pour la distribution de l'énergie électrique, des
produits pour sous-toiture (bandeaux de rive et planches de sous-face) y compris les gouttières, des profilés
de finition intérieure de fenêtres y compris les tabliers intérieurs de fenêtres et des profilés pour les fenêtres et
