Petroleum and natural gas industries - Drilling and production equipment - Part 1: Side-pocket mandrels (ISO 17078-1:2004)

ISO 17078:2004 provides requirements for side-pocket mandrels used in the petroleum and natural gas industry. This part of ISO 17078 includes specifying, selecting, designing, manufacturing, quality control, testing, and preparation for shipping of side-pocket mandrels.
This part of ISO 17078:2004 does not address nor include requirements for end connections between the side-pocket mandrels and the well conduit. The installation and retrieval of side-pocket mandrels is outside the scope of this part of ISO 17078:2004. Additionally, this part of ISO 17078:2004 does not include specifications for centre-set mandrels, or mandrels that employ or support tubing-retrievable flow control devices.
This part of ISO 17078:2004 does not include gas-lift or any other flow-control valves or devices, latches, and/or associated wire line equipment that can or cannot be covered in other ISO specifications.
The side-pocket mandrels to which this part of ISO 17078:2004 refers are independent devices that can accept installation of flow-control or other devices down-hole.

Dieser Teil der ISO 17078 legt Anforderungen an Seitentaschen-Rohre für die Erdöl- und Erdgasindustrie fest. Dieser Teil der ISO 17078 umfasst technische Festlegungen, die Auswahl, Konstruktion, Herstellung, Qualitätslenkung, Prüfung sowie die Vorbereitung zum Versand für Seitentaschen-Rohre.
Dieser Teil der ISO 17078 enthält keine Anforderungen für die Verbindungen zwischen den Seitentaschen-Rohren und den Bohrungsleitungen. Der Ein- und Ausbau von Seitentaschen-Rohren liegt nicht im Anwendungsbereich dieses Teil der ISO 17078. Des weiteren enthält die vorliegende Norm keine Festlegungen für Seitentaschen-Rohre, die zentriert sind oder Rohre mit steigrohrziehbaren Durchfluss-Regeleinrichtungen.
Dieser Teil der ISO 17078 enthält keine Festlegungen für Gaslift-Vorrichtungen oder sonstige Durchfluss-Regelventile oder Einrichtungen, Verriegelungen und/oder zugehörige drahtseilgeführte Werkzeuge, die
eventuell in anderen ISO-Normen enthalten sind.
Die in dieser Norm festgelegten Seitentaschen-Rohre sind unabhängige Einrichtungen, in die Durchfluss-Regel- oder andere Einrichtungen unter Wasser eingebaut werden können.

L'ISO 17078-1:2004 fournit des exigences relatives aux raccords à poche latérale utilisés dans les industries du pétrole et du gaz naturel. Elle porte sur la spécification, la sélection, la conception, la fabrication, la maîtrise de la qualité, les essais et la préparation avant l'expédition des raccords à poche latérale.
Aucune exigence relative aux raccordements d'extrémité entre les raccords à poche latérale et le conduit du puits n'est traitée dans l'ISO 17078-1:2004. L'installation et le retrait des raccords à poche latérale ne sont pas couverts par le domaine d'application de la présente partie de l'ISO 17078-1:2004. De plus, les spécifications relatives aux raccords placés au centre, ou aux raccords qui utilisent ou supportent des dispositifs de régulation de la vitesse d'écoulement récupérables dans les tubes, ne sont pas couvertes.
L'ISO 17078-1:2004 ne traite pas de l'extraction au gaz ou d'autres vannes ou dispositifs de régulation de la vitesse d'écoulement, des verrous et/ou des équipements à câble de forage associés qui peuvent éventuellement être couverts par d'autres spécifications ISO.
Les raccords à poche latérale auxquels l'ISO 17078-1:2004 se rapporte sont des dispositifs indépendants qui permettent l'installation de dispositifs de régulation de la vitesse d'écoulement ou d'autres dispositifs en fond de trou.

Ta del ISO 17078 podaja zahteve za vpenjalne osi s stranskimi žepi, ki se uporabljajo v industriji za predelavo nafte in zemeljskega plina. Ta del ISO 17078 zajema določanje, izbiranje, načrtovanje, izdelovanje, nadzor kakovosti, preskušanje in pripravo za transport vpenjalnih osi s stranskimi žepi.  Ta del ISO 17078 se ne ukvarja in ne zajema zahtev za končne priključke med vpenjalnimi osmi s stranskimi žepi in vodom vrtine. Namestitev in ponovna uporaba vpenjalnih osi s stranskimi žepi je izven področja tega dela ISO 17078. Poleg tega ta del ISO 17078 ne zajema specifikacij za centralno nameščene vpenjalne osi ali vpenjalne osi, ki uporabljajo ali podpirajo regulatorje pretoka z obnovljivimi cevovodi. Ta del ISO 17078 ne zajema plinskih dvižnikov ali kakršnih koli drugih ventilov ali naprav za nadzor pretoka, zapahov in/ali povezane žične opreme, ki jih lahko ali ne zajemajo druge ISO specifikacije. Foreword

This document (EN ISO 17078-1:2004) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC
67 "Materials, equipment and offshore structures for petroleum and natural gas industries" in
collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 12 "Materials, equipment and offshore
structures for petroleum and natural gas industries", the secretariat of which is held by
AFNOR.

This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication
of an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by June 2005, and conflicting national
standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by June 2005.

According to the CEN/CENELEC Internal Regulations, the national standards organizations of
the following countries are bound to implement this European Standard: Austria, Belgium,
Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary,
