Explosion prevention and protection in underground mines - Protective systems - Part 4: Automatic extinguishing systems for road headers

This document lays down requirements for automatic explosion extinguishing systems for roadheader
machines (selective cut heading machines) in roadheader drivages where these systems automatically detect
the initial phase of a firedamp explosion which has been initiated by the cutter head of a roadheader machine
and extinguish it at the roadhead in such a way that the roadway drivage team is not put at risk.
This document does not lay down any requirements for the fighting of fires at the roadhead.
The automatic explosion extinguishing system for roadheaders is an autonomous protective system designed
in accordance with Directive 94/9/EC.

Dieses Dokument legt Anforderungen an automatische Explosionslöschanlagen für Teilschnittmaschinen (TSM) in Streckenvortrieben fest, die vom Schneidkopf einer TSM gezündete Grubengasexplosionen in der Entstehungsphase automatisch erkennen und im Vorortbereich so ablöschen, dass die Vorortbelegschaft nicht gefährdet wird.
Dieses Dokument legt keine Anforderungen für die Bekämpfung von Bränden im Vorortbereich fest.
Die automatische Explosionslöschanlage für TSM ist ein autonomes Schutzsystem gemäß Richtlinie 94/9/EG.

Protection contre l'explosion dans les mines souterraines - Systèmes de protection - Partie 4: Installation d'extinction automatique d'explosion pour machines à attaque ponctuelle

Le présent document spécifie les exigences auxquelles doivent répondre les dispositifs d’extinction automatique d’explosion pour machines à attaque ponctuelle (MAP) utilisées dans le creusement de galeries souterraines, qui détectent automatiquement les explosions de grisou naissantes déclenchées par la tête d’abattage d’une MAP et les arrêtent sur le site, de sorte que le personnel sur site n’est pas mis en péril.
Le présent document ne spécifie aucune exigence en ce qui concerne la lutte contre les incendies dans les mines souterraines.
Le dispositif d’extinction automatique d’explosion pour MAP est un système de protection autonome conformément à la directive 94/9/CE.
