Fire detection and fire alarm systems - Part 21: Alarm transmission and fault warning routing equipment

This European Standard specifies requirements, test methods and performance criteria against which the effectiveness and reliability of routing equipment capable of transmitting fire alarm and/or fault warning signals for use with fire detection and fire alarm systems installed in buildings can be assessed (see EN 54-1). The routing equipment is designed to allow the system to function in accordance with the requirements of this European Standard. It also provides for the evaluation of conformity of the equipment to the requirements of this standard.

Brandmeldeanlagen - Teil 21: Übertragungseinrichtungen für Brand- und Störungsmeldungen

Diese Europäische Norm legt Anforderungen, Prüfverfahren und Leistungsmerkmale fest, hinsichtlich derer
die Wirksamkeit und Zuverlässigkeit von Übertragungseinrichtungen für Brandmelde- und/oder Störungs-signale
zur Verwendung in Verbindung mit Brandmeldeanlagen in Gebäuden bewertet werden können (siehe
EN 54-1). Übertragungseinrichtungen sind vorgesehen, um zu ermöglichen, dass die Anlage entsprechend
den Anforderungen dieser Europäischen Norm funktioniert. Die Norm dient ebenfalls der Bewertung der
Konformität der Einrichtungen mit den Anforderungen dieser Norm.

Systèmes de détection et d'alarme incendie - Partie 21 : Dispositif de transmission de l'alarme feu et du signal de dérangement

La présente Norme européenne spécifie les exigences, les méthodes d’essai et les critères de performance
par rapport auxquels peuvent être évaluées l’efficacité et la fiabilité de l’équipement de transmission capable
de transmettre les signaux d’alarme incendie et/ou de dérangement à utiliser dans les systèmes de détection
et d’alarme incendie installés dans des bâtiments (voir l’EN 54-1). L’équipement de transmission est conçu
pour permettre au système de fonctionner conformément aux exigences de la présente Norme européenne. Il
prévoit également l’évaluation de la conformité de l’équipement aux exigences de la présente norme.
