Fibre ropes - Polypropylene split film, monofilament and multifilament (PP2) and polypropylene high-tenacity multifilament (PP3) - 3-, 4-, 8- and 12-strand ropes (ISO 1346:2012)

ISO 1346:2012 specifies requirements for 3-strand hawser-laid and 4-strand shroud-laid ropes, 8-strand braided ropes and 12-strand braided ropes for general service made of polypropylene and gives rules for their designation.

Diese Internationale Norm legt Anforderungen an 3-litzige und 4-litzige Polypropylen-Seile in Trossenschlag sowie an 8 litzige geflochtene Polypropylen-Seile und 12 litzige geflochtene Seile aus Polypropylen für allgemeine Verwendung und die Regeln für ihre Bezeichnung fest.

L'ISO 1346:2012 spécifie les exigences relatives aux cordages câblés à 3 torons et à 4 torons, ainsi qu'aux cordages tressés à 8 torons et à 12 torons, en polypropylène, pour usages divers, et précise les règles de leur désignation.

This document (EN ISO 1346:2012) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 38 "Textiles" in
collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 248 “Textiles and textile products” the secretariat of which is
held by BSI.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical
text or by endorsement, at the latest by February 2013, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn
at the latest by February 2013.
