This European Standard specifies a method for the stabilisation at 85 °C for 24 h of a binder after recovery from a bituminous emulsion or from a cut-back or fluxed bitumen for further testing.
It applies to all types of bituminous emulsions, modified with polymers or non-modified, and as well as to all types of cut-back and fluxed bitumens, both modified with polymers and non-modified.
The recovery test method is specified in EN 13074-1.

The hazards associated with the use of this method have been assessed using cut-back bitumen containing 10 % kerosene and 90 % 160/220 penetration grade bitumen and were found low enough to be acceptable. Diese Europäische Norm legt ein Verfahren zur Stabilisierung eines Bindemittels nach der Rückgewinnung aus einer Bitumenemulsion oder verschnittenem oder gefluxtem Bitumen für 24 h bei 85 °C für weitere Prüfungen fest.
Sie gilt für alle Arten von Bitumenemulsionen, polymermodifiziert oder nicht modifiziert, sowie für alle Arten von verschnittenem und gefluxtem Bitumen, sowohl polymermodifiziert als auch nicht modifiziert.
Das Verfahren zur Rückgewinnung ist in EN 13074 1 festgelegt.
WARNUNG — Die Anwendung dieses Dokuments schließt auch den Umgang mit gefährlichen Substanzen und Ausrüstungen sowie die Durchführung gefährlicher Arbeitsschritte ein. Dieses Dokument erhebt nicht den Anspruch, dass alle mit seiner Anwendung verbundenen Sicherheitsprobleme angesprochen werden. Die mit der Anwendung dieses Verfahrens verbundene Gefährdung wurde mit verschnittenem Bitumen mit 10 % Kerosin und mit 90 % Bitumen der Penetration 160/220 ermittelt und war niedrig genug, um als akzeptabel angesehen zu werden. Jedoch liegt es in der Verantwortung des Anwenders dieses Dokuments, geeignete Vorsichtsmaßnahmen für den Arbeits- und Gesundheits¬schutz zu treffen und die Anwendbarkeit einschränkender Vorschriften vor der Anwendung zu bestimmen.

La présente Norme européenne prescrit une méthode de stabilisation à 85 °C pendant 24 h du liant obten u
après récupération à partir d’une émulsion de bitume ou d’un bitume fluidifié ou fluxé, pour permettre la
réalisation d’essais ultérieurs.
Elle s’applique à tous les types d’émulsions de bitume, modifiées avec des polymères ou non modifiées, ainsi
qu’à tous les types de bitumes fluidifiés et fluxés, modifiés avec des polymères et non modifiés.
La méthode d’essai de récupération est spécifiée dans la norme EN 13074-1.

Ta evropski standard določa metodo za stabilizacijo veziv po ponovni pridobitvi iz bitumenskih emulzij ali rezanih in fluksiranih bitumnov pri (85 2) °C za 24 h za nadaljnje preskušanje.
Velja za vse vrste bitumenskih emulzij, modificiranih s polimeri ali nemodificiranih, ter za vse vrste rezanih in fluksiranih bitumnov, modifificiranih s polimeri ali nemodificiranih.
Preskusno metodo za ponovno pridobitev določa EN 13074-1.
