Plastics - Unplasticized poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC-U) profiles for building applications - Part 3: Designation of PVC-UE profiles

This European Standard establishes a system of designation for profiles made of cellular unplasticized poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC-UE) intended to be used for building applications.
This part is applicable to light coloured and coloured mono-extruded PVC-UE profiles, co-extruded profiles consisting of a core made of PVC-UE and a skin layer of non-cellular unplasticized poly(vinyl chloride)
(PVC-U), and PVC-UE profiles with laminated foil or lacquered-coating.
It specifies test methods and test parameters.
This method of designation is intended to be used in product specification when the application is specified.
NOTE   It is recommended to use this method for the designation of PVC-UE profiles for information related to technical literature of the manufacturer, not for the marking of the products.
Profiles for the management of electrical power cables, communication cables and power track systems used for the distribution of electrical power, profiles for windows or doors and profiles for guttering are not covered by this European Standard.

Diese europäische Norm legt ein Bezeichnungssystem zur Bezeichnung von Profilen aus geschäumtem
weichmacherfreien Polyvinylchlorid (PVC-UE) für die Anwendung im Bauwesen fest.
Dieser Teil gilt für hellfarbige und farbige mono-extrudierte PVC-UE-Profile, koextrudierte Profile, die aus
einem PVC-UE-Kern und einer Außenschicht aus ungeschäumtem weichmacherfreien Polyvinylchlorid
(PVC-UE) bestehen sowie für PVC-UE-Profile mit beschichteter Folie oder Lackschicht.
Es werden Prüfverfahren und Prüfparameter festgelegt.
Dieses Bezeichnungsverfahren ist für die Verwendung bei der Produktspezifikation vorgesehen, sobald die
Anwendung festgelegt ist.
ANMERKUNG Es wird empfohlen, dieses Verfahren zur Bezeichnung von PVC-UE-Profilen für Informationen in Bezug
auf die technische Literatur des Herstellers und nicht für die Kennzeichnung der Produkte zu verwenden.
Profile für die Führung elektrischer Stromkabel, Datenkabel und Stromschienen für die Verteilung von elektrischem
Strom, Fenster- oder Türprofile und Profile für Dachrinnen werden durch diese Europäische Norm
nicht abgedeckt.1)

La présente Norme européenne définit un système de désignation des profils fabriqués en poly(chlorure de
vinyle) non plastifié expansé (PVC-UE), destinés à être utilisés pour des applications dans le bâtiment.
La présente partie s'applique aux profilés en PVC-UE colorés et de coloris clair mono-extrudés, aux profilés
co-extrudés constitués d'une partie centrale faite en PVC-UE et d'une couche externe en poly(chlorure de
vinyle) non plastifié non expansé (PVC-U), ainsi qu'aux profilés en PVC-UE avec un film plaxé ou une couche
de laque.
Elle spécifie les méthodes et paramètres d'essai.
Le système de désignation défini est destiné à être utilisé dans la spécification des produits lorsque
l'application est spécifiée.
NOTE Il est recommandé d'utiliser ce système de désignation des profilés en PVC-UE pour les informations liées à
la documentation technique du fabricant et non pour le marquage des produits.
La présente Norme européenne ne traite pas des profilés pour la gestion des câbles d'énergie électrique, des
câbles de communication et des chemins d'alimentation utilisés pour la distribution de l'énergie électrique, des
profilés pour fenêtres et portes ni des profilés pour gouttières.1)

Ta evropski standard vzpostavlja sistem označevanje profilov iz penjenega nemehčanega polivinilklorida (PVC-UE), namenjenih za uporabo v gradbeništvu. Ta del velja za rahlo obarvane in obarvane monoekstrudirane profile iz penjenega nemehčanega polivinilklorida, koekstrudirane profile, sestavljene iz jedra, narejenega iz penjenega nemehčanega polivinilklorida, in površinske plasti iz nepenjenega nemehčanega polivinilklorida (PVC-U), ter za profile iz penjenega nemehčanega polivinilklorida z laminatno folijo ali lakiranim premazom. Določa preskusne metode in preskusne parametre. Ta metoda označevanja se uporablja pri specifikaciji proizvoda, kadar je določen način uporabe.
