Leisure accommodation vehicles - Motor caravans - Part 1: Habitation requirements relating to health and safety

This document specifies requirements intended to ensure the safety and health of persons when they use motor caravans for temporary or seasonal habitation.
It also specifies the corresponding test methods.
However, certain requirements of this standard do not apply to motor caravans where the overall length multiplied by the overall width does not exceed 12 m2 plan area.
EN 1646-2 gives requirements relating to user payloads for motor caravans.
Requirements applicable to road safety are not included in the scope of this document.
This document is applicable exclusively to motor caravans as defined in EN 13878.

Bewohnbare Freizeitfahrzeuge - Motorcaravans - Teil 1: Anforderungen an den Wohnbereich hinsichtlich Gesundheit und Sicherheit

Dieses Dokument legt Anforderungen für die Sicherheit und Gesundheit von Personen fest, wenn diese die Motorcaravans zeitweilig oder saisonbedingt benutzen.
Es legt auch die entsprechenden Prüfverfahren fest.
Bestimmte Anforderungen dieser Norm gelten nicht für Motorcaravans, deren Grundfläche, ermittelt durch Multiplikation der Gesamtlänge mit der Gesamtbreite, nicht größer als 12 m2 ist.
EN 1646-2 enthält die Anforderungen an die Zuladung von Motorcaravans.
Anforderungen an die Sicherheit im Straßenverkehr gehören nicht zum Anwendungsbereich dieses Dokuments.
Dieses Dokument gilt ausschließlich für Motorcaravans nach den Begriffen in EN 13878.

Le présent document spécifie les prescriptions destinées à assurer la sécurité et la santé des personnes lorsque
celles-ci utilisent les autocaravanes comme logements temporaires ou saisonniers.
Il spécifie les méthodes d'essais correspondantes.
Toutefois, certaines exigences spécifiées dans le présent document ne s'appliquent pas à certaines autocaravanes
dont la surface totale obtenue par la longueur totale hors tout multipliée par la largeur totale hors tout est inférieure
à 12 m 2 .
EN 1646-2 donne les prescriptions relatives aux charges utiles pour les autocaravanes.
Les prescriptions du présent document n'incluent pas les exigences applicables à la sécurité routière.
Le présent document s'applique exclusivement aux autocaravanes, telles que définies dans l�EN 13878.
