This part of ISO 1452 specifies the characteristics of fittings made from unplasticized poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC-U) for piping systems intended for water supply and for buried and above-ground drainage and sewerage under pressure. It also specifies the test parameters for the test methods referred to in this part of ISO 1452. In conjunction with ISO 1452-1, ISO 1452-2 and ISO 1452-5, it is applicable to PVC-U fittings and to joints with components of PVC-U, other plastics and non-plastics materials intended to be used for the following: a) water mains and services buried in the ground; b) conveyance of water above ground for both outside and inside buildings; c) buried and above-ground drainage and sewerage under pressure. It is applicable to fittings in piping systems intended for the supply of water under pressure up to and including 25 °C (cold water), intended for human consumption and for general purposes as well as for waste water under pressure. This part of ISO 1452 is also applicable to components for the conveyance of water and waste water up to and including 45 °C. For temperatures between 25 °C and 45 °C, Figure A.1 of ISO 1452-2:2009 applies. Depending on the jointing method, this part of ISO 1452 is applicable to the following types of fittings: - fittings for solvent cementing; - elastomeric ring seal fittings. PVC-U fittings can be manufactured by injection-moulding and/or be fabricated from pipe. This part of ISO 1452 is also applicable to PVC-U flange adapters and to the corresponding flanges made from various materials. This part of ISO 1452 covers a range of fitting sizes and pressure classes and gives requirements concerning colours.

Dieser Teil von ISO 1452 legt die Eigenschaften von Formstücken aus weichmacherfreiem Poly(vinylchlorid) (PVC U) für Rohrleitungssysteme fest, die für die Wasserversorgung und für erdverlegte und nicht erdverlegte Entwässerungs und Abwasserdruckleitungen eingesetzt werden.
Er legt außerdem die Prüfparameter für die Prüfverfahren fest, auf die in diesem Teil von ISO 1452 verwiesen wird.
Zusammen mit ISO 1452 1, ISO 1452 2 und ISO 1452 5 gilt dieser Teil für Formstücke aus PVC U sowie für Verbindungen mit Bauteilen aus PVC U, anderen Kunststoffen und anderen Werkstoffen, die für folgende Anwendungsgebiete vorgesehen sind:
a) erdverlegte Versorgungs und Hausanschlussleitungen;
b) oberirdischer Transport von Wasser sowohl innerhalb als auch außerhalb von Gebäuden;
c) erdverlegte und nicht erdverlegte Abwasserdruckleitungen.
Darüber hinaus ist dieser Teil von ISO 1452 anwendbar auf Rohrleitungssysteme, die für die Wasserver-sorgung unter Druck bis einschließlich 25 °C (Kaltwasser) für den menschlichen Gebrauch (Trinkwasser) und für allgemeine Zwecke (Betriebswasser) sowie für Abwasser unter Druck vorgesehen sind.
Dieser Teil von ISO 1452 gilt auch für Bauteile zum Transport von Wasser und Abwasser bis einschließlich 45 °C. Für Temperaturen zwischen 25 °C und 45 °C gilt ISO 1452 2:2009, Bild A.1.
ANMERKUNG 1 Hersteller und Anwender können die Anwendung bei Temperaturen oberhalb 45 °C von Fall zu Fall vereinbaren.
In Abhängigkeit von der Art der Verbindung gilt dieser Teil von ISO 1452 für folgende Arten von Formstücken:
- Formstücke für Klebverbindungen;
- Formstücke für elastomere Dichtringverbindungen.
Die Formstücke aus PVC U können im Spritzguss und/oder aus Rohren hergestellt sein.
Dieser Teil von ISO 1452 ist auch anwendbar auf Bundbuchsen aus PVC U und auf zugehörige Flansche aus ver¬schiedenen Werkstoffen.
Dieser Teil von ISO 1452 enthält Festlegungen für Formstück Größen und Druckklassen und legt Anforderungen an die Einfärbung fest.

Ta del ISO 1452 določa značilnosti fitingov, narejenih iz nemehčanega polivinilklorida (PVC-U), za cevne sisteme, namenjene oskrbi z vodo, ter podzemnemu in nadzemnemu odvodnjavanju in kanalizaciji pod tlakom. Določa tudi preskusne parametre za preskusne metode, navedene v tem delu ISO 1452. V povezavi z ISO 1452-1, ISO 1452-2 in ISO 1452-5 velja za polivinilkloridne fitinge in spojnice s komponentami iz polivinilklorida ter drugih polimernih in nepolimernih materialov, ki se uporabljajo v naslednje namene: a) za podzemne glavne vodovode in dovode; b) nadzemni prenos vode zunaj in znotraj stavb; c) podzemno in nadzemno odvodnjavanje in kanalizacijo pod tlakom. Velja za fitinge v cevnih sistemih, ki se uporabljajo za oskrbo z vodo pod tlakom do vključno 25°C (s hladno vodo), namenjeno za prehrano ljudi in za splošne namene, ter za odpadne vode pod tlakom. Ta del ISO 1452 velja tudi za komponente prenosa vode in odpadne vode do vključno 45°C. Za temperature med 25°C in 45°C velja Slika A.1 iz ISO 1452-2:2009. Glede na metodo spajanja ta del ISO 1452 velja za naslednje vrste fitingov: - fitingi za lepljenje; - fitingi z elastomernim tesnilom. Polivinilkloridni fitingi se lahko izdelujejo z brizganjem in/ali so narejeni iz cevi. Ta del ISO 1452 velja tudi za polivinilkloridne adapterje prirobnic in ustrezne prirobnice, narejene iz različnih materialov. This document (EN ISO 1452-3:2009) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 155 “Plastics
piping systems and ducting systems", the secretariat of which is held by NEN, in collaboration with Technical
Committee ISO/TC 138 "Plastics pipes, fittings and valves for the transport of fluids".
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical
text or by endorsement, at the latest by June 2010, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at
the latest by June 2010.

Foreword
