Plastics piping systems for water supply and for buried and above-ground drainage and sewerage under pressure - Unplasticized poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC-U) - Part 4: Valves (ISO 1452-4:2009)

ISO 1452-4:2009 specifies the characteristics of valves made from unplasticized poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC‑U) for piping systems intended for water supply and for buried and above-ground drainage and sewerage under pressure. It also specifies the test parameters for the test methods referred to.
In conjunction with ISO 1452-1, ISO 1452-2, ISO 1452-3 and ISO 1452-5 it is applicable to PVC‑U valves with components of PVC-U, other plastics and non-plastics materials intended to be used for the following:
- water mains and services buried in ground;
- conveyance of water above ground for both outside and inside buildings;
- buried and above-ground drainage and sewerage under pressure.
It is applicable to valves in piping systems intended for the supply of water under pressure up to and including 25 °C (cold water) intended for human consumption and for general purposes as well as for waste water under pressure. It is also applicable to valves for the conveyance of water and waste water up to and including 45 °C.

Dieser Teil von ISO 1452 legt die Eigenschaften von Armaturen aus weichmacherfreiem Poly(vinylchlorid) (PVC U) fest, die in Rohrleitungssystemen für die Wasserversorgung und für erdverlegte und nicht erd-verlegte Abwasserdruckleitungen eingesetzt werden.
Er legt auch die Prüfparameter für die Prüfverfahren fest, auf die in diesem Teil von ISO 1452 verwiesen wird.
Zusammen mit ISO 1452 1, ISO 1452 2, ISO 1452 3 und ISO 1452 5 gilt dieser Teil von ISO 1452 für PVC U Armaturen mit Bauteilen aus PVC U, weiteren Kunststoffen und Nicht Kunststoffen, die für folgende Anwendungsgebiete vorgesehen sind:
a)   erdverlegte Versorgungs  und Hausanschlussleitungen;
b)   oberirdischer Transport von Wasser sowohl innerhalb als auch außerhalb von Gebäuden;
c)   erdverlegte und oberirdische Entwässerungs- und Abwasserdruckleitungen.
Darüber hinaus ist dieser Teil von ISO 1452 anwendbar auf Rohrleitungssysteme, die für die Wasser-versorgung unter Druck bis einschließlich 25 °C (Kaltwasser) für den menschlichen Gebrauch und für allgemeine Zwecke sowie für Abwasser unter Druck vorgesehen sind.
Dieser Teil von ISO 1452 gilt auch für Armaturen zum Transport von Wasser und Abwasser bis einschließlich 45 °C. Für Temperaturen zwischen 25 °C und 45 °C gilt ISO 1452 2:2009, Bild A.1.
ANMERKUNG 1      Zwischen Hersteller und Endverbraucher kann über Anwendungsmöglichkeiten bei Temperaturen über 45 °C von Fall zu Fall eine Vereinbarung getroffen werden.
Dieser Teil von ISO 1452 gilt für folgende Arten von Armaturen:
   Armaturen für Klebverbindungen;
   Armaturen für elastomere Dichtringverbindungen;
   Armaturen für Flanschverbindungen.
ANMERKUNG 2   Es liegt in der Verantwortung der Einkäufer oder der Planer die entsprechende Auswahl dieser Aspekte unter Beachtung ihrer besonderen Anforderungen, den geltenden nationalen Regelungen, den Anforderungen an die Verlegung und dem Stand der Technik zu treffen.

L'ISO 1452-4:2009 spécifie les caractéristiques des robinets réalisés en poly(chlorure de vinyle) non plastifié (PVC‑U) pour les systèmes de canalisations destinés à l'alimentation en eau et pour les collecteurs d'assainissement enterrés et aériens avec pression. Elle spécifie également les paramètres d'essai pour les méthodes d'essai auxquelles il y est fait référence.
Conjointement à l'ISO 1452-1, à l'ISO 1452-2, à l'ISO 1452-3 et à l'ISO 1452-5, elle s'applique aux robinets en PVC‑U ainsi qu'aux composants en PVC‑U, en d'autres matériaux, plastiques ou non plastiques, destinés à être utilisées pour
— les conduites principales et branchements enterrés,
— le transport de l'eau en aérien, à l'extérieur et à l'intérieur des bâtiments,
— les collecteurs d'assainissement enterrés et aériens avec pression.
L'ISO 1452-4:2009 s'applique aux robinets des systèmes de canalisations pour le transport de l'eau avec pression jusqu'à 25 °C (eau froide) inclus destinée à la consommation humaine et pour l'usage général aussi bien que pour les eaux usées avec pression. Elle s'applique également aux robinets pour le transport de l'eau et de l'eau usée jusqu'à 45 °C inclus.

Ta del ISO 1452 določa značilnosti ventilov, narejenih iz nemehčanega polivinilklorida (PVC-U), za cevne sisteme, namenjene oskrbi z vodo, ter podzemnemu in nadzemnemu odvodnjavanju in kanalizaciji pod tlakom. Določa tudi preskusne parametre za preskusne metode, navedene v tem delu ISO 1452. V povezavi z ISO 1452-1, ISO 1452-2, ISO 1452-3 in ISO 1452-5 velja za polivinilkloridne ventile s komponentami iz polivinilklorida ter drugih polimernih in nepolimernih materialov, s katerimi se uporabljajo v naslednje namene: a) za podzemne glavne vodovode in dovode; b) nadzemni prenos vode zunaj in znotraj stavb; c) podzemno in nadzemno odvodnjavanje in kanalizacijo pod tlakom. piping systems and ducting systems", the secretariat of which is held by NEN, in collaboration with Technical

Foreword

ISO (the International Organization for Standardization) is a worldwide federation of national standards bodies

ISO 1452-4 was prepared by the European Committee for Standardization (CEN) Technical Committee

CEN/TC 155, Plastics piping systems and ducting systems, in collaboration with ISO Technical Committee

ISO/TC 138, Plastics pipes, fittings and valves for the transport of fluids, Subcommittee SC 2, Plastics pipes

and fittings for water supplies, in accordance with the Agreement on technical cooperation between ISO and

CEN (Vienna Agreement).

This first edition cancels and replaces ISO 4422-4:1997, which has been technically revised.

ISO 1452 consists of the following parts, under the general title Plastics piping systems for water supply and

for buried and above-ground drainage and sewerage under pressure — Unplasticized poly(vinyl chloride)

(PVC-U):

Introduction

The System Standard, of which this is Part 4, specifies the requirements for a piping system and its

components made from unplasticized poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC-U). The piping system is intended to be used

for water supply and for buried and above-ground drainage and sewerage under pressure.

In respect of potential adverse effects on the quality of water intended for human consumption, caused by the

products covered by this part of ISO 1452, the following are relevant.

a) This part of ISO 1452 provides no information as to whether or not the products can be used without

restriction.

b) Existing national regulations concerning the use and/or the characteristics of these products remain in

force.

Requirements and test methods material and components, other than valves, are specified in ISO 1452-1,

ISO 1452-2 and ISO 1452-3. Characteristics for fitness for purpose (mainly for joints) are covered in

ISO 1452-5.
This part of ISO 1452 covers the characteristics of valves.

For the convenience of users of this part of ISO 1452, marking on valves according to withdrawn International
