Castors and wheels - Castors and wheels for applications up to 1,1 m/s (4 km/h)

This European Standard specifies the technical requirements, the appropriate dimensions and the requirements for testing.  This European Standard applies to castors and wheels (which may include accessories) for manually propelled or power towed industrial applications up to 1,1 m/s (4 km/h). This European Standard does not apply to castors and wheels for furniture, swivel chairs, institutional, hospital beds and driven applications. Castors for specialised applications may also have to conform to other specific standards.

Diese Europäische Norm legt die technischen Anforderungen, die geeigneten Abmessungen und die Anforderungen für die Prüfungen fest. Diese Europäische Norm gilt für Rollen und Räder (einschließlich des Zubehörs) für handgezogene oder geschobene Anwendungen bis zu einer Geschwindigkeit von 1,1 m/s (4 km/h). Räder und Rollen für Möbel, Bürostühle, Apparate, Krankenbetten und für angetriebene Anwendungen sind in diesem Dokument nicht enthalten. Rollen für besondere Anwendungen können auch anderen besonderen Normen entsprechen müssen.

La présente norme européenne spécifie les prescriptions techniques, les dimensions appropriées et les prescriptions pour la réalisation des essais.  La présente norme européenne s'applique aux roues et roulettes (pouvant comporter des accessoires) pour des applications manuelles ou tractées jusqu'à 1,1 m/s (4 km/h).Les roues et roulettes, pour sièges de bureaux, lits d'hopitaux, équipement de collectivité, meubles,ou des applications automotrices, sont exclues de cette présente norme.
