Machines and plants for the manufacture, treatment and processing of flat glass - Safety requirements - Part 7: Cutting machines for laminated glass
1.1 This European Standard applies for cutting machines for laminated glass including the following steps: transport and positioning, synchronous cutting (scoring) from both sides, break-out, electrical heating and separation.
1.2 This European Standard deals with the significant hazards, hazardous situations and events relevant to cutting machines for laminated glass when they are used as intended and under the conditions foreseeable by the manufacturer (see Clause 4). Those hazards, which are dealt with in the ad-hoc standard EN 619 for con-veyors are excepted. This European Standard specifies the appropriate technical measures to eliminate or reduce risks which can arise from these significant hazards during commissioning, the operation and mainte-nance. Hazards from noise are not considered to be significant.
1.3 This European Standard is not applicable to cutting (scoring) and break-out of monolithic glass (see EN 13035-3 and prEN 13035-6).
1.4 This European Standard is not applicable to the cutting of laminated glass by sawing or by the use of high-pressure liquid.
1.5 This European Standard is not applicable to the significant hazards of conveyors and machines for the manufacture, treatment and processing of flat glass such as tilting tables.
1.6 This European Standard is not applicable to cutting machines for laminated glass which are manufac-tured before the date of publication of this European Standard by CEN.
Maschinen und Anlagen zur Herstellung, Be- und Verarbeitung von Flachglas - Sicherheitsanforderungen - Teil 7: Schneidmaschinen für Verbundglas
1.1 Diese Europäische Norm gilt für Schneidmaschinen für Verbundglas, die folgende Schritte umfassen: Transport und Positionieren, synchrones Schneiden (Ritzung) von beiden Seiten, Brechen, elektrisches Erhitzen und Trennen.
1.2 Diese Europäische Norm behandelt die signifikanten Gefährdungen, Gefährdungssituationen und Gefährdungsereignisse, die von Schneidmaschinen für Verbundglas ausgehen, wenn sie bestimmungsgemäß und entsprechend den für den Hersteller vorhersehbaren Bedingungen verwendet werden (siehe Abschnitt 4). Die Gefährdungen, die in der EN 619 für Stetigförderer behandelt werden, sind ausgeschlossen. Diese Europäische Norm spezifiziert die entsprechenden technischen Maßnahmen zur Beseitigung oder Verminderung der Risiken, die von den signifikanten Gefährdungen während der Inbetriebnahme, Bedienung und Wartung ausgehen können. Gefährdungen durch Lärm werden nicht als signifikant betrachtet.
1.3 Diese Europäische Norm gilt nicht für Schneiden (Ritzung) und Brechen von einfachem Glas (siehe EN 13035-3 und EN 13035-6).
1.4 Diese Europäische Norm gilt nicht für das Schneiden von Verbundglas durch Sägen oder durch Verwendung von Hochdruckflüssigkeit.
1.5 Diese Europäische Norm befasst sich nicht mit den signifikanten Gefährdungen von Stetigförderern und Maschinen zur Herstellung, Be- und Verarbeitung von Flachglas, wie z. B. Kipptischen.
1.6 Diese Europäische Norm gilt nicht für Schneidmaschinen für Verbundglas, die hergestellt wurden,
bevor CEN dieses Dokument veröffentlichte.

1.1 La présente Norme européenne s'applique aux machines à couper le verre feuilleté, pour les étapes
suivantes: transport et mise en place, découpe (marquage de coupe) synchronisée des deux côtés, rompage,
chauffage électrique et séparation.
1.2 La présente Norme européenne traite les phénomènes dangereux, situations et événements dangereux
significatifs spécifiques aux machines à couper le verre feuilleté, lorsque celles-ci sont utilisées lorsqu'elles
sont utilisées normalement et dans les conditions prévues par le constructeur (voir Article 4). Les
phénomènes dangereux traités dans la norme spécifique EN 619 pour les convoyeurs ne sont pas pris en
compte. La présente Norme européenne spécifie les mesures techniques appropriées pour éliminer ou
réduire les risques susceptibles d’être engendrés par ces phénomènes dangereux significatifs lors des
opérations de mise en service, de fonctionnement et de maintenance. Les phénomènes dangereux émanant
du bruit ne sont pas considérés comme significatifs.
1.3 La présente Norme européenne ne s'applique pas au découpage (marquage de coupe) ni au rompage
du verre monolithique (voir EN 13035-3 et EN 13035-6).
1.4 La présente Norme européenne ne s'applique pas au découpage du verre feuilleté par sciage ou
utilisation d'un liquide sous pression.
1.5 La présente Norme européenne ne s'applique pas aux phénomènes dangereux significatifs des
convoyeurs et des machines pour la production, le façonnage et la transformation du verre plat, par exemple
les tables basculantes.
1.6 La présente Norme européenne ne s’applique pas aux machines à couper le verre feuilleté fabriquées
avant la date de publication de la présente Norme européenne par le CEN.
