Personal eye-protection equipment - Filters and eye-protectors against laser radiation (laser eye-protectors)

This European Standard applies to eye-protectors used for protection against accidental exposure to laser radiation as defined in EN 60825-1:2007 in the spectral range 180 nm (0,18 µm) to 1 000 µm. It defines the requirements, test methods and marking. A guide is given in Annex B for the selection and use of laser eye protectors.
This European Standard does not apply to protectors for intentional exposure to laser radiation.
EN 208 applies for laser adjustment eye-protectors.
Before selecting eye protection according to this European Standard, a risk assessment should first be undertaken (see Annex B).

Persönlicher Augenschutz - Filter und Augenschutzgeräte gegen Laserstrahlung (Laserschutzbrillen)

Diese Europäische Norm gilt für Augenschutzgeräte, die zum Schutz gegen unbeabsichtigt einwirkende Laserstrahlung nach EN 60825 1:2007 im Spektralbereich zwischen 180 nm (0,18 µm) und 1000 µm Verwendung finden. Sie legt die Anforderungen, Prüfverfahren und die Kennzeichnung fest.
Einen Leitfaden für die Auswahl und die Anwendung von Laserschutzbrillen und Filtern in Geräten gibt der informative Anhang B.
Diese Europäische Norm gilt nicht für Schutzgeräte gegen absichtliche Laserstrahlenexposition.
Für Laser Justierbrillen gilt EN 208.
Bevor ein Augenschutz nach dieser Europäischen Norm ausgewählt wird, sollte zuerst eine Risiko¬analyse durchgeführt werden (siehe Anhang B).

Protection individuelle de l'oeil - Filtres et protecteurs de l'oeil contre les rayonnements laser (lunettes de protection laser)

La présente Norme européenne s'applique aux protecteurs de l'oeil utilisés contre l’exposition accidentelle aux rayonnements laser tels que définis dans l’EN 60825-1:2007 dans le domaine spectral compris entre 180 nm (0,18 μm) et 1 000 μm. Elle définit les exigences, les méthodes d'essai et le marquage.
Un guide de choix et d'utilisation des filtres et des lunettes de protection laser figure dans l'Annexe B informative.
La présente Norme européenne ne s’applique pas aux protecteurs destinés à une exposition volontaire aux rayonnements laser.
Les lunettes de réglage pour laser sont couvertes par l'EN 208.
Avant de choisir une protection de l'oeil conforme à la présente Norme européenne, il convient de réaliser au préalable une évaluation du risque (voir Annexe B).

Ta evropski standard se uporablja za varovala za oči, ki se uporabljajo za zaščito pred nenamerno izpostavljenostjo laserskim žarkom, kot je opredeljena v standardu EN 60825-1:2007, v spektralnem območju od 180 nm (0,18 µm) do 1000 µm. Standard določa zahteve, preskusne metode in označevanje. Dodatek B vsebuje vodilo za izbiro in uporabo očal za zaščito pred laserskimi žarki.
Ta evropski standard se ne uporablja za varovala za zaščito pred namerno izpostavljenostjo laserskim žarkom.
Standard EN 208 se uporablja za očala za prilagoditev laserskega sevanja.
Pred izbiro zaščite za oči na podlagi tega evropskega standarda je treba izvesti oceno tveganja (glej dodatek B).
