Fire detection and fire alarm systems - Part 3: Fire alarm devices - Sounders

This annex to EN 54-3 will describe the additional requirements and testing applicable to Audible fire alarm devices - Voice alarm sounders.
Note: a voice alarm sounder is an audible fire alarm device that contains all the necessary components to generate and broadcast recorded voice messages.

Ergänzung eines neuen dritten Absatzes im Anwendungsbereich:
Diese Norm behandelt akustische Sprachsignalgeber mittels Anwendung zusätzlicher Anforderungen, Prüf-verfahren
und Leistungskriterien, die im Anhang C im Einzelnen ausgeführt sind.
Der bestehende 3. Absatz wird der 4. Absatz.

Ajouter un troisième alinéa nouveau comme suit :
La présente norme est destinée à couvrir les alarmes vocales par l’ajout d’exigences, de méthodes d’essai et de critères de performance supplémentaires détaillés dans l’Annexe C.
Le troisième alinéa devient par suite le quatrième.

This amendment A2 modifies the European Standard EN 54-3:2001; it was approved by CEN on 27 April 2006.
