Small craft - Ventilation of petrol engine and/or petrol tank compartments (ISO 11105:1997)
This International Standard specifies requirements for ventilation of petrol engine and petrol tank compartments in
small craft of up to 24 m length of hull, having petrol engines for propulsion, electrical generation or mechanical
power, to prevent accumulation of explosive gases in these compartments. Personal watercraft are not covered.

Ta mednarodni standard določa zahteve za zračenje bencinskega motorja in prostorov za bencinski tank na malih plovilih z dolžino trupa do 24 m, ki bencinske motorje uporabljajo za pogon oziroma proizvodnjo elektrike ali mehanske moči, za preprečevanje kopičenja eksplozivnih plinov v teh prostorih. Standard ne zajema osebnih plovil.

The text of ISO 11105:1997 has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 188 “Small craft” of the
International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and has been taken over as EN ISO 11105:2017.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an
identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by March 2018, and conflicting national standards shall be
withdrawn at the latest by March 2018.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of
patent rights. CEN shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights.
This document supersedes EN ISO 11105:1997.
This document has been prepared under a mandate given to CEN by the European Commission and the
European Free Trade Association, and supports essential requirements of EU Directive(s).
