Diving accessories - Snorkels - Safety requirements and test methods

This standard specifies safety requirements in order to increase the safety in the use of snorkels for swimmers and divers. This standard is applicable to snorkels, which allow users to breathe at the water surface whilst floating with the face submerged. It covers snorkels used by swimmers, skin divers as well as SCUBA (acronym for self contained underwater breathing apparatus) divers. This standard is not applicable to combined face masks and snorkels, in which the snorkel tube opens into the face mask.

Tauch-Zubehör - Schnorchel - Sicherheitstechnische Anforderungen und Prüfverfahren

Diese Norm legt die sicherheitstechnischen Anforderungen fest, um die Sicherheit bei der Verwendung von Schnorcheln beim Schwimmen und Tauche zu erhöhen. Diese Norm gilt für Schnorchel, die dem Benutzer das Atmen an der Wasseroberfläche mit eingetauchtem Gesicht ermöglichen.  Sie umfaßt Schnorchel, die von Schwimmern, Schwimm-Tauchern und Tauchern mit einem autonomen Tauchgerät (SCUBA: self contained underwater breathing apparatus) benutzt werden. Diese Norm gilt nicht für kombinierte Gesichtsmasken und Schnorchel, bei denen das Schnorchelrohr in die Gesichtsmaske führt.

Accessoires de plongée - Tubas - Exigences de sécurité et méthodes d'essai

La présente norme européenne spécifie des prescriptions de sécurité visant à augmenter la sécurité d'utilisation des tubas pour les nageurs et les plongeurs.Cette norme s'applique aux tubas qui permettent à l'utilisateur de respirer lorsqu'il flotte à la surface, le visage dans l'eau. Elle englobe  les tubas utilisés par les nageurs, les plongeurs et les utilisateurs de SCUBA (acronyme désignant un appareil respiratoire autonome pour la plongée). Cette norme ne s'applique pas aux équipements combinant masque facial et tuba, où le tuba débouche dans le masque facial.
