EN 13803-2:2006/AC:2007(E/F/D) English version 2 1 General modifications According to the CEN Internal Regulations Part 3; a) with numbers starting from 1 000, the decimal place of thousands shall be written with spaces,
e.g. replace “1435 mm” with “1 435 mm”; b) physical dimensions and their appropriate abbreviations (symbols) shall be written italic and in the character font “Times New Roman” (otherwise there is visual no difference between "I (I)" and "l (l)"), e.g. replace “dl/dt” with “dI/dt”, “ûl” with “ûI”, “V” with “V”; c) physical units should be written in square brackets, e.g. replace “V (km/h)” with “V [km/h]”; d) in "3 Terms and definitions”, terms with symbols or abbreviations, the corresponding symbols or abbreviations should be given in a separate line, e.g. for 3.1. "3.1 abrupt change of cant deficiency ûI" should be written as: "3.1 abrupt change of cant deficiency ûI"; e) the opted term "recommended limiting value" is not auspicious. Limited values defined a range of a minimum and maximum and the real values should be within this range. A recommendation for a value cannot be a limited value. Therefore the term "recommended limiting value" shall be defined as "recommended value". 2 Modification to the French title Replace the French title with: "Applications ferroviaires
