This document gives specific requirements for gaseous fire-extinguishing systems, with respect to the HFC 125 extinguishant. It includes details of physical properties, specification, usage and safety aspects and is applicable to systems operating at nominal pressures of 25 bar and 42 bar, superpressurized with nitrogen. This does not preclude the use of other systems.

Dieses Dokument legt die speziellen Anforderungen an Löschanlagen mit gasförmigen Löschmitteln fest, bei denen HFC 125 als Feuerlöschmittel angewendet wird. Es enthält Einzelheiten zu den physikalischen Eigen¬schaften, zu seiner Spezifikation, zu seinem Einsatz und zu den Sicherheitsaspekten und gilt für Systeme, die bei Nenndrücken von 25 bar und 42 bar mit Stickstoff als Treibgas betrieben werden. Die Anwendung anderer Systeme ist nicht ausgeschlossen.
