Machines and plants for the manufacture, treatment and processing of hollow glass - Safety requirements - Part 3: IS Machines

1.1   This European Standard applies to the design and installation of IS machines including the gob distributor and machine conveyor.
1.2   This European Standard deals with the significant hazards, hazardous situations and events relevant to IS machines, when they are used as intended and under the conditions foreseeable by the manufacturer (see
Clause 4).  This European Standard specifies the appropriate technical measures to eliminate or reduce risks which can arise from these significant hazards.
1.3   This European Standard does not deal with gob feeders (see EN 13042-1) and handling machines for feed-ing (see EN 13042-2) which are self-standing machines used for the delivery of portions of melted glass to hollow-glass-forming machines such as glass presses (see EN 13042-5).
1.4   This European Standard is not applicable to IS machines which are manufactured before the date of publica-tion of this European Standard by CEN.

1.1   Diese Europäische Norm gilt für die Konstruktion und die Installation von IS-Maschinen einschließlich des Tropfenverteilers und des Maschinenbands.
1.2   Diese Europäische Norm behandelt die signifikanten Gefährdungen, Gefährdungssituationen und Gefährdungsereignisse, die auf IS-Maschinen zutreffen, wenn sie bestimmungsgemäß und entsprechend den für den Hersteller vorhersehbaren Bedingungen verwendet werden (siehe Abschnitt 4). Diese Europäische Norm spezifiziert die entsprechenden technischen Maßnahmen zur Beseitigung oder Verminderung der Risiken, die von diesen signifikanten Gefährdungen ausgehen können.
1.3   Diese Europäische Norm befasst sich nicht mit Tropfenspeisern (siehe prEN EN 13042-1) und Handhabungsmaschinen zum Speisen (siehe EN EN 13042-2), die eigenständige Maschinen darstellen, die zur Abgabe von Portionen von schmelzflüssigem Glas an Hohlglas-Formgebungsmaschinen, wie z. B. Glaspressen (siehe EN EN 13042-5), verwendet werden.
1.4   Diese Europäische Norm gilt nicht für IS-Maschinen, die hergestellt wurden, bevor CEN EN diese Europäische Norm veröffentlichte.

La présente norme contient les prescriptions de sécurité pour la conception et l'installation des machines à sections individuelles (machines I.S.), y compris le distributeur de paraisons et le convoyeur mécanique. La présente norme traite tous les phénomènes dangereux significatifs relatifs aux machines à sections individuelles (machines I.S.) lorsqu'elles sont utilisées dans les conditions prévues par le constructeur (voir article 4). Cette norme européenne spécifie les mesures techniques appropriées pour éliminer ou réduire les risques dus aux phénomènes dangereux significatifs.
