This European Standard defines the means for evaluating the acoustic durability of Road Traffic Noise Reducing Devices.
In this European Standard, the sound absorption is characterised by the sound reflection index DLRI as defined in CEN/TS 1793-5. The airborne sound insulation is characterised by the airborne sound insulation index DLSI as defined in CEN/TS 1793-5.

Diese Europäische Norm legt die Verfahren zur Beurteilung der akustischen Beständigkeit von
Lärmschutzeinrichtungen an Straßen fest.
In dieser Europäischen Norm ist die Schallabsorption durch die Einzahl-Angabe zur Schallreflexion DLRI nach
CEN/TS 1793-5 gekennzeichnet. Die Luftschalldämmung ist durch die Einzahl-Angabe zur Luftschalldämmung
DLSI nach CEN/TS 1793-5 gekennzeichnet.

La présente norme définit les moyens d’évaluer la durabilité acoustique des dispositifs de réduction du bruit du trafic routier.
Dans la présente norme, l’absorption acoustique est caractérisée par l'indice unique d'évaluation de l'absorption acoustique DLRI tel que défini dans le CEN/TS 1793-5. L’isolation aux bruits aériens est caractérisée par l’indice unique d’évaluation de l’isolation aux bruits aériens DLSI tel que défini dans le CEN/TS 1793-5.
