Electric cables - Guide to use for cables with a rated voltage not exceeding 450/750 V (U0/U) - Part 1: General guidance

This European Standard provides guidance to help installers, cabling designers and end users to understand the characteristics of electric cables with a rated voltage not exceeding 450/750 V (U0/U) or equivalent d.c. voltages, so that the cable can be selected, installed and operated in a safe way. It is applicable to those cable types that are specified in EN 50525 (all parts).

Standard EN 50565-1 podaja smernice, ki so inštalaterjem, načrtovalcem kablov in končnim uporabnikom v pomoč pri razumevanju značilnosti električnih kablov z nazivno napetostjo, manjšo od 450/750 V (standard UNEN-EN 50565-1 določa smernice, ki so inštalaterjem, načrtovalcem kablov in končnim uporabnikom v pomoč pri razumevanju značilnosti električnih kablov z nazivno napetostjo, manjšo od 450/750 V (U0/U) ali enakovredno enosmerno napetostjo, zato da lahko kabel izberejo ter varno namestijo in upravljajo). Uporablja se za vrste kablov, določene v standardu EN 50525 (vsi deli). Smernice, podane v tem evropskem standardu, lahko veljajo tudi za nizkonapetostne kable, ki so podobni vrsti kablov, določeni v standardu EN 50525, vendar v teh standardih niso posebej omenjene. V takšnih primerih je priporočljivo poiskati dodatne napotke pri proizvajalcu kabla. Zakonske zahteve imajo prednost pred smernicami, podanimi v tem dokumentu./U) ali enakovredno enosmerno napetostjo, zato da se lahko kabel varno izbere, namesti in upravlja.
