Ta del standarda IEC 62923 določa zahteve za delovanje in lastnosti, preskusne metode ter zahtevane rezultate preskušanja za upravljanje z opozorili na mostu (BAM) v podporo resoluciji MSC.302(87) Mednarodne pomorske organizacije. Uporablja se za vsa opozorila, prikazana na mostu in prenesena nanj.
OPOMBA: Celotno besedilo tega dokumenta, ki je enako besedilu resolucije MSC.302(87) Mednarodne pomorske organizacije, je natisnjeno s poševno pisavo, številke odstavkov resolucije in povezanega standarda učinkovitosti pa so navedene v oklepajih.
(MSC.302/2) Za zagotavljanje večje varnosti delovanja, standardi učinkovitosti, podani v resoluciji MSC.302(87), določajo zahteve za usklajen prikaz in obdelavo opozoril na mostu ter sistem centralnega upravljanja opozoril (CAM).
Dodatek E podaja napotke o načelih načrtovanja, ki pri uporabi dosežejo želeno povečanje stopnje varnosti.
(MSC.302/3) Modul A (točka 6) tega dokumenta opisuje splošen koncept upravljanja z opozorili na mostu in prikaz opozoril na opremi mostu. Modula B (točka 7) in D (točka 9) zajemata zahteve za CAM in CAM-HMI. Modul C (točka 8) opisuje zahteve glede vmesnikov za upravljanje z opozorili na mostu.
Upravljanje z opozorili na mostu je koncept, ki nalaga zahteve za opremo za upravljanje in prikaz opozoril na mostu, vključno z opremo, ki zagotavlja funkcije sistema centralnega upravljanja opozoril.
• Oprema je skladna z upravljanjem z opozorili na mostu, če ustreza modulu A – Prikaz in upravljanje opozoril na mostu ter modulu C – Povezovanje tega dokumenta.
• Oprema je skladna s sistemom centralnega upravljanja opozoril, če je skladna z opremo za upravljanje opozoril na mostu in poleg tega ustreza modulu B – Funkcionalnost sistema centralnega upravljanja opozoril ter modulu D – Dokumentacija sistema in opreme za sistem centralnega upravljanja opozoril iz tega dokumenta.
Za namene opremljanja ladje, na kateri je oprema, skladna z opremo za upravljanje (s komunikacijo povezanih) opozoril na mostu, z opremo, ki ni skladna z opremo za upravljanje opozoril (imenovano »starejši viri opozarjanja«), ta dokument vključuje navodila za povezavo obeh vrst opreme (glej točko 4.4 in dodatek H).
IEC 62923-2 opisuje standardizirane identifikatorje opozoril in skupin ter druge dodatne funkcije.
