This document gives the requirements for heat-shrinkable, polyolefin sleeving, antitracking with a nominal shrink ratio of 3:1. This sleeving has been found suitable for use at temperatures up to 100 °C. Typically: medium wall, internal diameter up to 110 mm. This sleeving is normally supplied in the colours red or brown. Since these types of sleeving cover a significantly large range of sizes and wall thicknesses, Annex A (Table A.1) provides guidance on the range of sizes available. The actual size will be agreed between the user and the supplier. Materials which conform to this specification meet established levels of performance. However, the selection of a material by a user for a specific application will be based on the actual requirements necessary for adequate performance in that application and not based on this specification alone. This sleeving is designed to be used in medium voltage cable accessories and as such electrical performance willbe proven as part of the assembly. Examples of this are described in HD 629.1 and IEC 60502 (all parts).

IEC 60684-3-280:2019 est disponible sous forme de IEC 60684-3-280:2019 RLV qui contient la Norme internationale et sa version Redline, illustrant les modifications du contenu technique depuis l'édition précédente. IEC 60684-3-280:2019 donne les exigences relatives aux gaines thermorétractables, en polyoléfine, anticheminement, présentant un rapport de rétreint nominal de 3:1. Ces gaines se sont avérées appropriées pour une utilisation à des températures allant jusqu’à 100 °C. Généralement: paroi moyenne, diamètre intérieur jusqu’à 110 mm. Ces gaines sont normalement disponibles en rouge ou en brun. Comme ces types de gaines couvrent une plage très étendue de tailles et d’épaisseurs de paroi, l'Annexe A (Tableau A.1) donne des recommandations sur la plage des tailles disponibles. Ta dokument podaja zahteve za toplotno skrčljive poliolefinske cevi za zaščito pred poškodbami z nazivnimi razmerji krčenja do 3:1. Te cevi so primerne za uporabo pri temperaturi do 100 °C. Običajno: srednje debela stena, notranji premer do 110 mm. Te cevi so običajno dobavljive v rdeči ali rjavi barvi. Ker ti tipi cevi zajemajo bistveno velik razpon velikosti in debelin sten, so v preglednici A.1 v dodatku A podana navodila glede razpona razpoložljivih velikosti. O dejanski velikosti se dogovorita uporabnik in dobavitelj. Materiali, ki so skladni s to specifikacijo, ustrezajo določenim ravnem delovanja. Vendar uporabnik bo material za določeno uporabo izbral glede na dejanske zahteve, ki omogočajo ustrezno delovanje pri tej uporabi, in ne samo na podlagi te specifikacije. FOREWORD

1) The International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) is a worldwide organization for standardization comprising

all national electrotechnical committees (IEC National Committees). The object of IEC is to promote

international co-operation on all questions concerning standardization in the electrical and electronic fields. To
