Inland navigation vessels - Manually- and power-operated coupling devices for pushing units and coupled vessels - Safety requirements and main dimensions (ISO 6218:2015)

This International Standard specifies dimensions and safety requirements for manually operated
and power-driven coupling devices used for assembling inland navigation vessels as a push tow or
vessels coupled alongside by means of wire rope connections. The coupling device secures the stable
positioning of the coupled vessels.
Requirements for the safety to protect operators from accidents during the creation, operation, and
separation of the wire rope connections of push tows and vessels coupled alongside are contained in
this International Standard.
It also gives rules for designation and testing.

Fahrzeuge der Binnenschifffahrt - Handbetätigte und kraftbetriebene Spannvorrichtungen für Drahtseilverbindungen von Schub- und Koppelverbänden - Sicherheitsanforderungen und Hauptmaße (ISO 6218:2015)

Diese Internationale Norm legt Maße und sicherheitstechnische Anforderungen für handbetätigte und kraftbetriebene Spannvorrichtungen fest, die für die Zusammenstellung von Fahrzeugen der Binnenschifffahrt als Schubverband oder als längsseits gekuppelte Fahrzeuge mittels Drahtseilverbindung verwendet werden. Die Spannvorrichtung dient der Sicherstellung der festen Lage der gekuppelten Fahrzeuge zueinander.
Anforderungen zur Sicherheit und somit zur Vermeidung von Unfällen des Bedienungspersonals beim Zusammenstellen, Betrieb und Trennen der Drahtseilverbindungen von Schub- und Koppelverbänden sind in dieser Internationalen Norm enthalten.
Diese Internationale Norm legt zusätzlich Regeln für die Bezeichnung und die Prüfung fest.

ISO 6218:2015 spécifie les dimensions et les exigences de sécurité pour les treuils d'accouplement man?uvrés à la main ou motorisés utilisés pour assembler des bateaux de navigation intérieure sous forme de convois poussés ou de formations à couple longitudinales au moyen de liaisons de câbles en acier. Le treuil d'accouplement permet de maintenir de façon stable le positionnement des bateaux accouplés.
Des exigences de sécurité ont été incluses dans la présente Norme internationale afin de protéger les opérateurs des accidents pendant la mise en ?uvre, l'utilisation et la séparation des liaisons formées avec des câbles en acier pour les convois poussés et les formations à couple longitudinales.
ISO 6218:2015 fournit également des règles applicables à la désignation et aux essais.

Ta mednarodni standard določa dimenzije in varnostne zahteve za ročno in električno upravljane vpenjalnih naprav, ki se uporabljajo za vpenjanje plovil za celinske vode, namenjenih vleki, ali plovil, ki so z njimi povezana, z žično vrvjo. Vpenjalne naprave zagotavljajo stabilno lego vpetih plovil.
Varnostne zahteve za zaščito izvajalcev pred nesrečami med povezovanjem ali ločevanjem
vlačilcev in z njimi povezanih plovil z žično vrvjo oziroma med upravljanjem s povezavami z žično vrvjo so zajete v tem mednarodnem standardu. Standard podaja tudi pravila za označevanje in preskušanje.

marine technology" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 15 “Inland navigation vessels”
