The text of the International Standard from Technical Committee ISO/TC 93 "Starch (including
derivatives and by-products)" of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), the
secretariat of which is held by CMC.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of
an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by September 2002, and conflicting national
standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by September 2002.

Foreword
ISO (the International Organization for Standardization) is a worldwide federation of national standards bodies (ISO

1 Scope
This International Standard specifies a proton NMR spectrometric method for the determination of the
hydroxypropyl content of granular modified starch.
