Resilient, textile and laminate floor coverings - Classification (ISO 10874:2009)

This International Standard establishes a classification system for resilient, textile and laminate floor coverings. The classification is based on practical requirements for areas of use and intensity of use. These requirements are linked to the requirements specified in the International Standard for each type of floor covering. This standard is also intended to give guidance to manufacturers, specifiers and consumers to enable them to choose the appropriate class of floor covering for any given area of use or specific room.
NOTE   The wear and appearance of floor coverings are influenced by standards of installation and maintenance, the condition of the sub floor and the kind of use (type of footwear, high concentrations of localized traffic, etc). These factors should be taken into account when using this classification system.

Elastische, textile und Laminat- Bodenbeläge - Klassifizierung (ISO 10874:2009)

Diese Internationale Norm legt ein Klassifizierungssystem für elastische, textile und Laminat Bodenbeläge fest. Dieser Klassifizierung liegen praktische Anforderungen an Verwendungsbereiche und Nutzungsintensität zugrunde. Sie ist an die Anforderungen gebunden, die in den zutreffenden Internationalen Normen für jede Art von Bodenbelägen festgelegt sind.
Diese Internationale Norm soll außerdem Herstellern, Ausschreibern und Verbrauchern einen Leitfaden geben und sie in die Lage versetzen, die geeignete Klasse von Bodenbelägen für einen vorgesehenen Verwendungsbereich oder für spezielle Räume auszuwählen.

Revêtements de sol résilients, textiles et stratifiés - Classification (ISO 10874:2009)

L'ISO 10874:2009 établit un système de classification pour les revêtements de sol résilients, textiles et stratifiés. Cette classification est basée sur des exigences pratiques relatives aux zones d'utilisation et à l'intensité d'utilisation et est liée aux exigences spécifiées dans la Norme internationale appropriée pour chaque type de revêtement de sol.
L'ISO 10874:2009 est également destinée à fournir des lignes directrices aux fabricants, aux rédacteurs de descriptifs et aux clients pour les aider à choisir la classe appropriée de revêtement de sol pour toute zone d'utilisation donnée ou toute pièce spécifique.

Netekstilne, tekstilne in laminatne talne obloge - Razvrščanje (ISO 10874:2009)

Ta mednarodni standard vzpostavlja sistem razvrščanja za netekstilne, tekstilne in laminatne talne obloge. To razvrščanje temelji na praktičnih zahtevah glede področij in intenzivnosti uporabe. Te zahteve so povezane z zahtevami, določenimi v mednarodnem standardu za posamezno vrsto talnih oblog. Ta standard zagotavlja tudi navodila za proizvajalce, naročnike in potrošnike, da lažje izberejo ustrezni razred talnih oblog za določeno področje uporabe ali določen prostor.
OPOMBA Na vrhnjo plast in videz talnih oblog vplivajo standardi namestitve in vzdrževanja, stanje tal pod oblogami in vrsta uporabe (vrsta obutve, visoka koncentracija lokaliziranega prometa itd.). Pri uporabi sistema razvrščanja je treba upoštevati te dejavnike.

The text of ISO 10874:2009 has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 219 “Floor coverings” of the
International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and has been taken over as EN ISO 10874:2012 by
Technical Committee CEN/TC 134 “Resilient, textile and laminate floor coverings” the secretariat of which is
held by BSI.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical
text or by endorsement, at the latest by August 2012, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at
the latest by August 2012.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent
rights. CEN [and/or CENELEC] shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights.
This document supersedes EN 685:2007.
According to the CEN/CENELEC Internal Regulations, the national standards organizations of the following
