This document specifies the requirements for laser welded tailored blanks (LWB) made of steels for all cold or hot forming processes.
This document applies to all steel grades with or without metallic and/or organic coatings, having uniform or different sheet thickness, welded with or without extra material addition.
After the welding process, LWB are further processed to pressed parts by forming operations under the responsibility of the processor.

This document specifies technical delivery conditions for flat and long products of hot rolled weldable fine grain structural steels in the thermomechanical rolled condition in the grades and qualities given in Tables 1 to 3 (chemical composition) and Tables 4 to 6 (mechanical properties) in thickness ≤ 150 mm.
The steels specified in this document are especially intended for use in heavily loaded parts of welded structures such as, bridges, flood gates, storage tanks, water supply tanks, etc., for service at ambient and low temperatures.

This document specifies technical delivery conditions for flat products of high yield strength alloy special steels. The grades and qualities are given in Tables 1 to 3 (chemical composition) and Tables 4 to 6 (mechanical properties) and are supplied in the quenched and tempered condition.
The steels specified in this document are applicable to hot-rolled flat products with a minimum nominal thickness of 3 mm and a maximum nominal thickness of 200 mm for grades S460, S500, S550, S620 and S690, a maximum nominal thickness of 125 mm for grades S890 and S960, in steels which, after quenching and tempering, have a specified minimum yield strength of 460 MPa to 960 MPa.

This document defines the steel grades of grain-oriented electrical steel strip and sheet in nominal thicknesses of 0,20 mm, 0,23 mm, 0,27 mm, 0,30 mm and 0,35 mm. In particular, it gives general requirements, magnetic properties, geometric characteristics, tolerances and technological characteristics, as well as inspection procedures.
This document applies to Goss textured grain-oriented electrical steel strip and sheet supplied in the final annealed condition in coils or sheets and intended for the construction of magnetic circuits.
The grades are grouped into three classes:
- conventional grades;
- high permeability grades;
- magnetic domain refined high permeability grades.
They correspond to Class C22 of IEC 60404-1.

This technical report describes the qualification methods, relevant for the non-oriented electrical steel coatings described in EN 10342. In particular, it describes the testing methods, sample preparation, calibration methods, that are necessary to obtain reliable results that can be considered a reference for quality evaluation.

This document specifies requirements for continuously organic coated (coil coated) steel flat products. It particularly specifies the performance requirements.
The products covered are wide strip, sheet cut from wide strip, slit wide strip, strip rolled in widths less than 600 mm and cut lengths (from sheet or strip).
NOTE National provisions can set up relationships between the performances of the coatings as required in this document and the outdoor atmospheres and ambiances required for a relevant building under study.
This document is not applicable to continuously organic coated flat products made of:
- tin mill products;
- electrical steels.

This document specifies requirements for tinmill products in the form of sheets or coils. Tinmill products consist of single and double reduced low carbon mild steel electrolytically coated with either tin (tinplate) or chromium/chromium oxide (ECCS) or (ECCS-RC) (see 3.3).
Single reduced tinmill products are specified in nominal thicknesses that are multiples of 0,005 mm from 0,16 mm up to and including 0,49 mm. Double reduced tinmill products are specified in nominal thicknesses that are multiples of 0,005 mm from 0,12 mm up to and including 0,29 mm.
NOTE 1 Other thicknesses can be ordered upon agreement.
This document applies to coils and sheets cut from coils in nominal minimum widths of 600 mm.
NOTE 2 Standard width coils for specific uses, e.g. tabstock, can be slit into narrow strip for supply in coil form.

This document specifies the technical delivery conditions for cold rolled narrow steel strip made of non alloy and alloy steel grades in the form of coils and cut lengths in rolling widths less than 600 mm. Cold rolled narrow steel strip is available in grades of case hardening steel and of steels for quenching and tempering for general and special applications particularily springs.
— Case hardening steels in thicknesses up to and including 10 mm;
— Steels for quenching and tempering in thicknesses up to and including 6 mm in the conditions annealed (+A), annealed and skin passed (+LC) or cold rolled (+CR);
— Steels in the quenched and tempered condition (+QT) in thicknesses between 0,30 mm and 3,00 mm.
In special cases supplementary requirements or deviations with respect to this document can be agreed between the purchaser and the supplier at the time of enquiry and order (see 5.2 and Annex A).
In addition to the requirements of this document, the general technical delivery requirements specified in EN 10021 apply.
This document does not cover cold rolled flat products for which separate standards exist, e.g.:
— Cold rolled uncoated low carbon steel narrow strip for cold forming (EN 10139);
— Cold rolled steel flat products with higher yield strength for cold forming (EN 10268).

This document specifies a method using a barcoding system for tracing potential isolated defects that can be present in the following kinds of coated or uncoated steel flat products, for example:
- electro-galvanised surface
- galvanised surface
- galvannealed surface
- cold rolled surface
This method, named “quality tracking”, aims at transferring additional material information to the steel users, especially the location of some isolated defects, in a reliable way. This method enables the manufacturer or purchaser to eliminate blanks or coils containing defects.
The method uses a 1D barcode to identify each section of steel strip.
NOTE 1 The stakeholders most involved in this technique are suppliers of steel flat products, car makers, appliance makers, part manufacturers, blanking line builders, steel processors, service centres, etc. All stakeholders can benefit from this project since defects can be traced, and, therefore, the steel containing defects can be eliminated or set apart of the production line.
NOTE 2 In the first stages of development, this method was called "defect tracking" (see [1]) and has been changed into "quality tracking" at the beginning of the standardization process.
NOTE 3 Quality tracking can be applied to other types of coated or uncoated steel flat products such as pickled and oiled, organic coated, and steels for packaging. Quality tracking can be applied for coiled materials for which the technology of quality tracking is applicable.
NOTE 4 If quality tracking data are used outside of the purpose of quality tracking, it is under the responsibility of the user.
NOTE 5 Quality tracking can be applied to other materials than steel.
NOTE 6 The way to collect the information to be transferred to the user is out of the scope of this document.
