Valves - Terminology - Part 1: Definition of types of valves

This standard gives the denominations of valves. It has the purpose to provide a uniform and systematic terminology for all types of valves. By reasons of classification of terms clause 4 defines terms related to basic design characteristics and clause 5 defines terms related to functional characteristicsof valves.

La présente Norme Européenne spécifie les dénominations des appareils de robinetterie pour fournir une terminologie uniforme et  systématique pour tous les types d’appareils de robinetterie.

Ta standard določa nazive ventilov. Njegov namen je zagotavljanje enotne in sistematične terminologije za vse tipe ventilov. Zaradi klasifikacije pojmov točka 4 določa pojme, ki se nanašajo na osnovne oblikovne značilnosti, točka 5 pa določa pojme, ki se nanašajo na funkcionalne značilnosti ventilov.
