this European Standard is one of a series of standards dealing with the testing of flexible sheets for waterproofing of concrete bridge decks and other areas of concrete trafficable by vehicles. This test simulates the action of dynamic forces (e.g. braking).

Elle spécifie une méthode d'essai permettant d'évaluer les propriétés de résistance au cisaillement du systeme d'étanchéité en feuille appliqué sur une surface en béton recouverte d'une couche bitumineuse.

EN 13653:2004 (E) 3 Foreword This document (EN 13653:2004) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN /TC 254, "Flexible sheets for waterproofing", the secretariat of which is held by BSI. This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by March 2005, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by June 2006. According to the CEN/CENELEC Internal Regulations, the national standards organizations of the following countries are bound to implement this European Standard: Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and United Kingdom.
