Dieser Teil von ISO 1060 legt die Bedingungen zur Herstellung der Probekörper und  die zu Bestimmung der Eigenschaften von PVC-Polymeren anzuwendenden Prüfverfahren fest. Anforderungen an die Behandlung des Prüfmaterials und für das Konditionieren des Prüfmaterials vor der Prüfung sind ebenfalls enthalten. Eigenschaften und Prüfverfahren, die anwendbar und notwendig sind, um PVC-Polymere zu charakterisieren, sind aufgelistet.

La présente partie de l'ISO 1060 prescrit les méthodes de préparation des échantillons pour essai et les méthodes d'essai à appliquer pour déterminer les propriétés des résines PVC. Elle indique les exigences requises lors de la manipulation du matériau pour essai ainsi que lors de son conditionnement avant les essais. Elle fournit également une liste des propriétés et des méthodes d'essai appropriées et nécessaires à la caractérisation des résines PVC. Pour obtenir des résultats d'essai reproductibles et comparables, il est nécessaire d'utiliser les méthodes de préparation de l'échantillon, le conditionnement et les modes opératoires d'essai prescrits ci-après. Les valeurs déterminées ne seront pas nécessairement identiques à celles obtenues en utilisant d'autres échantillons pour essai ou des échantillons pour essai préparés en appliquant d'autres modes opératoires.

Foreword
ISO (the International Organization for Standardization) is a worldwide
federation of national standards bodies (ISO member bodies). The work of
preparing International Standards is normally carried out through ISO
technical committees. Each member body interested in a subject for which
a technical committee has been established has the right to be represented
on that committee. International organizations, governmental and non-
governmental, in liaison with ISO, also take part in the work. ISO
collaborates closely with the International Electrotechnical Commission
(IEC) on all matters of electrotechnical standardization.
Draft International Standards adopted by the technical committees are
circulated to the member bodies for voting. Publication as an International
Standard requires approval by at least 75 % of the member bodies casting
a vote.
International Standard ISO 1060-2 was prepared by Technical Committee
ISO/TC 61, Plastics, Subcommittee SC 9, Thermoplastic materials.
This third edition cancels and replaces the second edition
(ISO 1060-2:1985) and includes the following main changes:
a) the list of test methods in table 1 has been revised;
b) the preparation of standard pastes has been included.

Part 2:
Preparation of test samples and determination of properties
1  Scope
This part of ISO 1060 specified the methods of preparation of test samples and the test methods to be used in
determining the properties of PVC resins. Requirements for handling test material and for conditioning the material
before testing are given here. In addition, properties and test methods which are suitable and necessary to
characterize PVC resins are listed.
In order to obtain reproducible and comparable test results, it is necessary to use the methods of sample
preparation and conditioning and the test procedures specified herein. Values determined will not necessarily be
identical to those obtained using different test samples, or test samples prepared using different procedures.
2  Normative references
The following standards contain provisions which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this part of
ISO 1060. At the time of publication, the editions indicated were valid. All standards are subject to revision, and
parties to agreements based on this part of ISO 1060 are encouraged to investigate the possibility of applying the
most recent editions of the standards indicated below. Members of IEC and ISO maintain registers of currently valid
International Standards.
