In der vorliegenden Norm werden die Mindestanforderungen für die Dokumentation, Beschriftung und Beschilderung festgelegt, die der Hersteller einem Lasergerät beifügen muss. Die Dokumentation wird in zwei Bereiche gegliedert: - in das technische Datenblatt (Abschnitt 5) und - in die Betriebsanleitung (Abschnitt 6). Diese Norm gilt nicht für Laser-Einrichtungen, die Lasergeräte enthalten.

The documentation is presented on two levels: as a technical data sheet (clause 5) and as an instruction manual (clause 6).
